Thanks for posting this helpful video. I was great for a novice like myself. I have a question, though: after I pasted the html onto ebay's backend and previewed, I see the background color extends over entire web page even the top portion where the ebay logo and main listing is. What have I done wrong? Also, I tried to add a link to my store on my header and footer but it's adding the web page name before the link. How can I get it to go directly to my store? Thanks again!
omg thanks a lot!!!..ive been trying to find a answer on how to display your own picture on ebay because it wasnt letting me before. they told me to use filezilla but i have to have a domain name. Photobucket rocks!!..thanks a lot once again
@rosstejero hey yeh when you go and create a new css style make sure u select for this document only as if you dont it will create a css file that u wont be able to use
@04dstorey thanks, just made a ebay template for a client. It was my first time to make an ebay Template. Fortunately everything worked fine. Thanks again, youre such a big help.

@ogkiko yeah i use filezilla its alot easier to host ur own images and is cheap enough all u have to do is buy a .info domain name from godaddy and then look for sum cheap hosting from ebay carefull tho the ones that say £1 for five years unlimited hosting and stupid things like that usually fold if u do buy ur own hosting and domain name ill help u if u get stuck lol just mssg me it just means u can upload your full folder where u save ur images rather than using photobuckets crappy uploader
hey, sorry for the late response uum html appears exactly how it normally would on ebay just make sure as i said b4 that your images are hosted on sumthing like photobucket and then use the direct link code from photobucket to display the images. carefull though ebay doesn't allow things like java and iframes
hey ^^ glad it helped to learn all this stuff takes loads of tutorrials so i said to myself hmm ill make it easier for other ppl ill smack them all into one tutorial :P
uum well if your going to upload to the internet Ebay charges you for hosting images and you can not insert images into your web page using ebay so you can either host it on photobucket or your own server
uuum yeh if you import them to ebay they show up in the search results but to have them actually on the web page you have to host 'em e.g. photobucket, tinypic or your own server like i do and then all you do is grab the direct link code and put it into dreamweaver and then once your happy with your page go into code > copy all and paste it into your ebay item description box and boom! you've got yourself a nice looking page ^^ hope that helped

Hi When I put the html in ebay it works great but if I use turbo lister it will not shoe my background and the text is off center to the left.
But with ebay it looks just fine, I prefer to use turbo lister as its so much faster to list.
Any thoughts?

Why did you upload it to photobucket and did not just import it in the site?
