The rifle has normal recoil. Look at the stance and hold. The FAL is not a monster, you just have to handle it properly. If you stand there straight as a fence post, it will back you up. If you step into the rifle, it is easy to control. Of course, weighing 185lbs or more helps too. LOL!

@Landon123richard All Belgian made FAL's are select fire. Only British commonwealth rifle are SLR. This is a class 3 select fire original.
