Man, i know that Case IH owns the right to the Steiger name, but its almost a disgrace to call an STX series a Steiger. That is a damn good looking 2+2 though
I know what you mean, but times move on. I know which I'd rather drive for 12 or 14 hours! You could say the same about the new Cats........I thought our D8H 22A was the ultimate moling tractor, and it had a lot more pull than the Challenger 65Rob has now, but the STX would pull the hind legs off it on a greasy surface like an old muck-heap bottom!

The 3388 built by IH was nicknamed the "SNOOPY" or "ANT-EATER" because of its very long snout.
