Not being involved in the Senate for months, not being involved with the bailout bill, McCain will swoop in and show the other 50 odd senators how to save the country. The election does need suspension. McCain is going to win this because he knows how to lead. He isn't a radical partisan like Obama. McCain is an American Hero and while Obama is multitasking McCain is helping solve this crisis. The American people need a leader not a man handing out false hope.

McCain is trying to be a cowboy hero. McCain is not the only man working on a bill or voting. There are lots of senators working on the bill. To suspend his election and compare bailing out immoral,greedy Wall Street to 9/11 is disrespectful to Americans!
McCain is taking a great risk. He is putting politics aside and showing leadership. Latest polls show 89% of Americans believe McCain is being selfless on this issue. The latest polls show the American people are responding to McCain putting the people's work first. He should make Obama show up to the first debate alone.
McCain has gone from 'fundamentals of our economy are strong' to 'we have to suspend the campaign & delay the debates in order to deal with the greatest economic crisis since WWII' in about a week. This is a cynical political ploy designed to help his sagging poll numbers & distract attention from McCain campaign manager Rick Davis who was paid $15k a month by Freddie Mac as recently as last month, directly contradicting statements made by the entire campaign as late as Tuesday.
McCain really attended to this crisis and put country first when he was gabbing with the women of the View in the midst of what he now calls an "Economic 9/11". What pandering political tactics. Like he can't debate in Mississippi and be back in Washington in 5 hours-- he has his own jet.
You go, John! Woo hoo!! Pelosi says it won't pass without you behind it. Reid says you have to give it your blessing before they'll "go there." who said many times up until last week that the fundamentals of the economy are strong.
who said on tuesday that he hadn't read the plan, but was concerned it was going to get railroaded though.
then said on wednesday that it wasn't going anywhere, so he was going to ride in to washington and fix everything.
and some people are actually buying this as "putting politics aside"??
