  • This is terrible old school advice, listen to skiwhh below

  • @phil656565 it is actually excellent advice when trying to learn to ski in the bumps as mentioned at the beginning of the clip. You need to turn the feet in the bumps!

  • @SnowValleyResort yes but the rotary movements are and should be minimal, I would never tell a beginning bump skier to "turn his feet"

  • Tipping the skis, is more effective than turning the feet!

  • @skiwhh not in the bumps it isn't!

  • This is awsome, i just talked to Rob on the phone! I am doing to SRO ski course next year! Nice work rob.

  • Wish there was more tips posted here from Rob. For many years I watched Ski base/ Pontiac world of skiing. just for Rob Buttler's ski tips at the end of the show way back in the "Sunshine" days.

  • The guy there told me not to put my legs together.

  • Legs together or apart? It's a variable. There's only one rule in skiing that is always applicable: don't fall! Putting a positive spin on that: actively balance yourself using your ankles, knees, hips and elbows. Hope that works for you.
