Wish there was more tips posted here from Rob. For many years I watched Ski base/ Pontiac world of skiing. just for Rob Buttler's ski tips at the end of the show way back in the "Sunshine" days.
Legs together or apart? It's a variable. There's only one rule in skiing that is always applicable: don't fall! Putting a positive spin on that: actively balance yourself using your ankles, knees, hips and elbows. Hope that works for you.

@SnowValleyResort yes but the rotary movements are and should be minimal, I would never tell a beginning bump skier to "turn his feet"
