I woke up this morning and my uncle and aunt were in my room looking inside my closet ( I don't use it and my room use to be their's so some of their stuff is in there. They also live with me) and I groaned cause I was tired and then my uncle thought i did becasue of some other reason and yelled at me and said what I just did was rude.
Yeah, I still have dreams where my dad is being extremely unreasonable about something & I'll wake up so frustrated, even after I realize it was only a dream!
The thing I've come to realize over the years is that most adults have never really changed from the person they were as kids-they learn to put on the "adult mask" but they can still be petty, selfish, want their way on everything, etc. Becoming a parent doesn't magically make them wise/reasonable!
I'm certain my dad is bipolar & mom is mentally unstable-they were 17 & 16 when I was conceived & way too young to be parents-plus his dad was a violent bipolar type too & her dad died when she was 5, both of which I'm sure contribute to their instability. You may not know some things from your parents' childhoods that could still effect them in a negative way today. Plus if they are even a bit obsessive/compulsive, that would explain some of their behavior!
My dad would misplace things & become violently mad & we'd all be scrambling around the house to find whatever it was, as he'd always blame us of losing it & if we found evidence that proved it was him & not us it was worse as he'd get even more angry!
Once he came storming out of the bathroom & said one of us had deliberately placed the toilet paper on backward just to spite him! I didn't even know it really mattered which direction it went on!
OMFG I have asian parents and this happens ALL THE TIMEEEE! ahahaha it is confusing

lol, my Mom's really the only one like this... lol
she had surgery a while back that caused her early menopause, and she doesn't take hormone supplements so she has nasty moodswings
...my dad always keeps his cool, but sometimes things he says may seem unreasonable to me at first, but i understand later on...
i feel like i'm complaining about my parents too harshly here... lol, they're fine, i just needed to exaggerate it into humour
