great footage...went there twice...great hol'.. keep away from markets and stupid haggling....most of the goods are rubbish and you will get what you want in the old town ... watch the currents there as well....v strong at times.....otherwise its beautiful. best sight for me was a tour of the volcanic region....its amazing...
@fairhillnorrie Thanks for your comments! Agree with you about the markets and touristy shops - I much prefer venturing into Arrecife where the locals shop, its much better value! The volcanic area at Timanfaya is amazing, it's an incredible landscape, well worth a visit. It's a great island, I've been three times now and looking forward to getting back there again at some point.
@DreamAirlines Yes, you're correct they are Irish. EU airlines are now allowed to base aircraft and operate routes from other countries within the EU.
@AliGator396 Thanks! I have flown with Ryanair to Lanzarote twice this year and both flights were ok and extremely good value. Seat pitch feels greater than with BA, maybe because Ryanair use lighter slimline seats. There is no IFE, but I just took my iPod. Crew were very friendly and professional both times and they got me from A to B which is the main thing!
4 days to go
i cant wait!
