it's kind of like a side story to the anime, one that is touched on every once in a while. Basically, there is a girl in the a dead world who ends up creating. It's weird; damn the creators for getting all metaphysical on us.

Anyhow, if you liked this anime, you might like "5 centimeters per second". It's probably my all time favorite.

It's specifically written for the show. They're anecdotes from the story that the girl with the eyepatch is working on.

na, i have seen the whole thing.

loved it to bits too, but i just found the first 2 episodes to be pretty average. they were pretty similar to most other anime based on romance visual novels and filled with cliches, but as the characters develop it becomes a truly magnificent show.

thats just my opinion. oh, and the end of episode 11 was brilliant, i left that as the ending for 2 weeks before i finally finished the series lol.
