i'm curious....I have a 383 and tranny to go with. But i need to find an old Mopar to put it in. I woudl prefer something close to a rolling chassis...can anyone give me an idea where to look? plz? Ebay is about useless..craiglist and junkyards maybe?
true thing, the GS is really underrated, when it's probably one of the best muscle cars ever made. a beautiful body and a wonderful engine. the 1971 stage 2 could produce over 650 torque.
the sad thing is, alot of them are closing, and the owner is having all the cars he has crushed and sold for scrap. stuff like that really pisses me off.
I'm currently trying to get a hold of a 69 Road Runner I dont care what condition the paint is, as long as she has minimal rust and an engine I can restore and turn into a beast, I'll drive her lookin like a rusted piece of crap and when some ricer blares past thinkin he's cool I'll hit the exhaust dumps and shove her up into high gear and roar back past him with a dual quad 440

@MiracleMile90 Damn right, guy near me has a 69 Nova sleeper, it has the origional olive paint on it but its all faded and stripped, origional rally wheels, worn and all that, stock exhaust with a set of cast iron dumps, the car looks like a beat up clunker to the ricers who dont realize looks aint everything, he's got a bored 427 under the hood ......
a 67 gt500 was rated around 360 hp with 420 ft lbs at torque running high 14s in the quarter......
the car at 1:14 is a 70 BUICK GS Stage 1, 3400 hp, 510 ft lbs of torque running low 13s...........come one you would have no chance, get your facts right before you say anything....
@lg69riv Hi guys! I had a 70 Buick GS 455 convertible 20 years ago! 1183 made! It has 530 ft lbs of torque and 360 hp! The highest torque in a mass produced v8 under 3000 rpm! I restored it to mint con and sold it to cheap! I still hate my self for doing that!
