Personally I recomment alienware/dell over the msi. I had a m15x with i5 and ati 5730 and later changed it with the msi 680gt. The quallity of the msi was lower, and the heat was greater. I dunno if the are changes in the msi gaming series but the alienware ventilation are a lot better. The only problem with the m15x was the rubber holders of the screen, they tent to remove after some use, but dell sent me a new keyboard part with new rubbers and a technicial fix it with out charges me. the dell alienware tech support is very helpful. they make sure your problem was solved and there open 24/7.

I bought one last nov. today it broke down. i called tech support and they said i had to send it to them to be fixed. it has a factory defect in the hardware. even though it really pisses me off a computer that cost that much broke when i did nothing. they did help me to get the problem solved. they are sending me a shipping box all postage payed. they are going to look over every part and fix whatever and do a performence check. then they will send it back and call me to make sure its working.

Mine is badass. It runs skyrim on the highest as well as SC2 and Borderlands on max. The only gripe about it is that it had a bit of a loud fan, but it's a monster so what do you expect. I don't need them, but I use headphones to help. You can turn up the volume and drown it out easily. Oh and the other negative is that you freak out about keeping it clean and such.

@JustChillin24I7 The G53SX has a GTX 540 which is a better graphics card and will perform better then the GT555M that is installed in the M14x. It would depend on whether you want a more portable laptop with a reasonable performance or a more powerful laptop but more bulky...
