They will also lead to child neglect, inability to work and manic states which may cause the addict to become violent to others.

I've since gotten great insurance which allows me to get all my suboxone for free and I have a lot of extra suboxone scripts left over. It's not common but I have dealt with addicts that were forced to do drugs, though I don't think that that's what Jamar was refering to in his choice of words. I've worked with individuals who were forced addictive drugs by IV so that the person who imposed the drugs on them could have control over them (Think of the movie "Marathon Man", drilling Dustin Hoffman's tooth to the nerve then taking away his oil of cloves to make him talk.) It sounds insane, but it does happen.
You've been spared some of the sick people that I've come into contact with in my job, and you're probably better for it.
I worked with one young lady who's pimp would tie her to the bed at night and not let her loose in the morning until he had shot her full of heroin. It only took a couple of weeks before she was hooked.
Again, I stress that this is not common, but it does happen. There are some sick fucking puppies out there.

It's not common but I have dealt with addicts that were forced to do drugs, though I don't think that that's what Jamar was refering to in his choice of words. I've worked with individuals who were forced addictive drugs by IV so that the person who imposed the drugs on them could have control over them (Think of the movie "Marathon Man", drilling Dustin Hoffman's tooth to the nerve then taking away his oil of cloves to make him talk.) It sounds insane, but it does happen.

Ok, there are some rare cases of poisoning someone, IE slipping benzos in someones drink and then fucking them when they pass out later.
We also have to make the differentiate giving someone a drug without them knowing, and forcibly giving them a drug.
And someone forcibly holding someone down and putting drugs into there body is EXTREMELY rare.
The only time I could think of where that would happen is in different forms of hospitals, they can actually force drugs upon you.

I worked with one young lady who's pimp would tie her to the bed at night and not let her loose in the morning until he had shot her full of heroin. It only took a couple of weeks before she was hooked.
Again, I stress that this is not common, but it does happen. There are some sick fucking puppies out there.

This is mostly an economic reality caused by capitalism. Many on the streets are in desperate need of psychiatric health as well. i agree that waiting 14 years for section 8 housing is a very poor excuse. and just maybe,fattimize, you've been fortunate enough not to live in an impoverished community, and don't realize that discrimination, racial profiling, and the disparities in drug laws and enforcement target poor people, especially poor blacks, more than any other group in this country, and that incarceration DOES in many cases bar people from decent living wage jobs, and this is a fact.
