  • my brittany spaniel is 16 years old and dispite her loss of hearing she is still capable of learning new tricks :P

  • see, i tried this, but my dog doesnt roll over, she gets up and goes back to sitting. like, instead of following the food by rolling over, she actually gets up to follow it. HELP!

  • lol, my beagle puppy did that as well, but i finally got him to roll and lay on his back. try to hold it closer to her nose, and move it slower. lol my beagle still can't do it on command yet though. i have to help him.

  • thanks!

  • yea same here! My dog is a westie (we have two dogs, the other ones a lhasa) and he knows sit, paw, down, and crawl. but ive been trying to teach him roll over and play dead but whenever i try and make him go on his side, he gets up and starts following the treat and lunges at my hand. ughhhh i cant get him to do it! i dont know if its because hes fat and stout or something, but he just wont go on his side or back.

  • what i tried when my dog did that i tried pushing my dog to the side but not hard just enough to put him on his side and then said bang. and then it was easier to do it with the treat. i hope my advice helps!!
