  • he knows english.. he lied lol

  • I personnaly love atibut, the 4890 X2 will only be a bit faster that the GTX 295 OC Edition. Thankfully it less a third of the price :D

  • its faster than the 280 never mind the 260

  • Jao Sale zasto su ATI proizvodi ovako skupi :(

  • @rajko666 kako god jeftiniju su od nvidijni :)

  • Lol guys listen Ati Radeon 4890X2 have 4 Gb in speed and over 300W lol this card kick all ass King of his age.

  • It`s called the Mars 295 and good luck getting one.

  • Yes they have spies in ATI's headquarters.

  • and it beats the the GTX260, I guess thats why they came out with the GTX275, I wonder if Nvidia knew the performance level of the 4890 before it came out

  • well, im sure they knew before the general public knew

  • ATi 4 Life!!!! :)

  • thank god the continued in english, i was about to close the vid.

  • Is there a 4890x2 coming?

  • I don't know. But i really hope so. That would be great.

  • of course their will be

  • lol 7:06 , made me laugh when he said it :P

  • The guy asks if the problem with high power consumption in idle has been addressed and he just starts babbling a load of bullshit about how people will be satisfied with the performance of the card and how they put higher clocks. What a tool!

  • nice interview, nice questions .. too bad the answers aren't always very clear..

1 thing that bothers me a little is that it looks like the camera man might be drunk of standing on a boat cuz it floats to left and right all the time :P

  • Who is Sasa Marinkovic? Is he from Serbia?

  • i guess slovenia.

  • Yes, he is Serbian...

  • OMG. when he asks the question at 6:13 and gives that smile.. i just lol'd sooo hard.

  • Two men in their 40s talking about better FPS in their games, how needing.

  • When exactly does he say something about the 4890 X2? Just post the time in the video like this:

    Example:

    x:xx

  • I don't have sound, so I don't know, but the link I found to get here said 6:12

  • sure they talk a lot, but they don't say much

too...i know the same i already knew before this

report. to the Reporter nice languange show off lol...

  • Just like Obama

  • i agree. And keep buying one ati then one nvidia then another ati then nvidia again. Now I have a 4850 and I am actually going to set up two nvidia cards in Sli. Unless the next ATI card series sways my opinion in the next two months.......... UGH. Oh well, competition is good for customers

  • AMD ever since it came out with its Original Radeon Series with the 9700 Pro, has been a thorn in Nvidia's monopolization plans. Thanks GOD AMD ATI is still in the game, imagine if Nvidia was the only GPU manufacturer out- prices would SKY ROCKET and quality would downgrade, the amount of new GPU releases wouldnt COME CLOSE to the release intervals they have now. We would get MAYBE 1 NEW GPU A YEAR. So again, to all those ATi Haters- Be glad ATI is still heavily competitive.

  • Wow, that was really really boring. The guy's basically reciting AMD's marketing slides.

  • Which 260 though? I know the core 216 can keep up with the 280/285 with a little overclocking.

  • Uhm, no.

  • Yes, why don't you pull your diluted head out of your 3rd point of contact and read some comparisons and benches. The 260 core 216 (65nm and 55nm) can keep up with the 280/285 with a little overclocking. I've proven it myself with a pair of 260s (55nm) in SLI.

The 4870 competed directly with the 260 from the very start. No single GPU card on the market today can beat the GTX 200 series. ATi had to go the X2 route to beat the 280, and look what happened to that. 295.....

  • It's obvious you're one of those retarded fanboys, this conversation ends here.

    Happy corporation cock-sucking!

  • gonna get this on wednesday! GONNA BE AWESOME!!! a whole new computer actually give me your thougts on the specs;

    Gigabyte HD 4890 1gb

    Gigabyte Ga-Ma790x ud4 Motherboard

    OCZ reaper HPC 4gb 1066mHz

    OCZ StealthXstram 600W powersupply

    AMD Phenom II x4 920

  • go i7 instead

  • gudluck on ur specs.

if you can buy the more expensive one. go for it but if ur on budget one you sucks.

u'ill be lucky by the next day and months to come and the year to come. if you do more research.

if want benchmark score or just want to play in high settings go for it. just choose wisely.

  • If you know a little about OC'ing your hardware... get the 940 and a very good cooler... :)

4GHz should be within your reach. But the 920 isn't a bad chioce either.

  • i want to buy a card to play fsx and crysis on but dont know if to buy 2 gtx 260 sli or a gtx 285 or a 4890 or a 4850x2. and want to buy a processor should i go for intel i7 or a amd phenom ll x4 920. please help send as much reply as u can.

  • I would suggest a pair of EVGA 260 55nm in SLI, and the Intel E8400 on the EVGA 750i FTW mobo.

They have the step-up, and that setup right there will run Crysis pretty nicely with a bit of overclocking.

  • Very erotical.

  • when is dx11 coming around. I want to wait but I also know that the dx10.1 cards will be able to utilize dx11

  • Wait for what? You do know there will be MONTHS maybe YEARS before we actually see something decent made in DX11... heck, there still isn't any native-DX10 game out yet... While most DX10-capable games suck in the eye-candy/performance ratio... HARD.

  • ok... I just want to get a dx11 capable card because I will be gone from home for about three months... I have a 4850 and its not quite enough... I know 10.1 cards were supposed to support it but they are now saying it will not happen. I think dx11 will be much different about the success it has.

  • isnt stormrise dx10-only?

funny thing is i cant even run crysiswarhead in dx9 as it stutters horribly (did not tweak yet), so i have to run it in dx10 (also didnt tweak yet / 4870x2)

  • DX11 is more about programming the gpgpu, not so much an update to graphical changes. Like CUDA, but more general programmablility for the GPU.

  • also i think it has to do making it easier to program on multi-threaded cpus

  • Damn this card is SICK.

I was going to purchase a 4870 1 gb this weekend but oh well.

  • 4890 competes more with GTX 280/285. It seems superior to GTx 275.

  • its better tahn the 275 at least in gpu clock

  • GPU clock is irelevant. You can't cross compare two different architectures. For instance, performance is approximately decided by a combination of the core operations/second (texture fills, setup rates, z-rates shader computations and so on) multiplied by the clock frequency, and by the memory bandwidth (which is a function of the bus interface and the memory speed, as for GDDR5 this will effectively be doubled).

  • As you may know (if you aren't an idiot) ATI and nVIDIAs architectures are totally different; ATI can do more shader ops per second and has more effective render back ends (which are called raster operarations pipeline for nV microArchs), while nV microArchs have superior fill rates on the texture side.

  • I think he ment it OCs better...

  • yeah well he could've meant that as well. Nice to see some VR-Zone guys here, although this place is more invaded with xfrgtrs and marios.

  • 4890 is the shit, I got one today and this card is the bomb, ATI FTW!!!!!

  • Hehe...

Good luck with getting 1GHz btw!

  • yay english for once

    thank you

  • Wieder mal ein kleiner Schritt nach vorne.

  • hört sich cool an aber ich setzte auf nvidia
