  • How come the backing sounds so new then?

  • @HTprods Read what comes up on the video. The background is from 1979, they added it in.

  • @HTprods did you read the video

  • Sounds like the talent show song from revenge of the nerds

  • Is that DR. Dre?! xD <3

  • u fucking stupid 2pac made the rap not this fucking shit

  • @thealaa16 You're an absolute retard. 2pacs career was from 1988-1996, way nearly 20 years after Rappers delight came out, which wasnt even the first known rap song of the time. And this may have well inspired it, meaning the earliest rap song couldve come from the 1930s. Please research before you declare deathly in-accurate claims.

  • this is a lot better then Justin Bieber rap :D

  • @AngryAtTechnology75 I you paid attention to what writing said on the video you'd notice that he said that the original sounded alot like Rapper's Delight so he edited the original to make it sound more new

  • and now we know where rappers delight came from. thanks for unlocking this piece of the puzzle.

  • with out the sugarhill gang music, it sounds nothing like rap.. this video is twisted, and mixed to sound like rap... good work,., but FAKE.. just look up the song on its own,.. sounds nothing like this.

  • For anyone that's interested, the unedited video (i presume) can be found on youtube here:

  • Rapping comes from the south, Hip Hop is from new york but they would neva admit that stupid niggas dis dey ancestors ny so stubborn.

  • @paulandj If Rap would have been from the South then all of the songs would be SHIT.

  • @TheAcosta187 bruh you dont kno shit bout southern hip hop.

  • @paulandj Yeah I do it's shitty ass Hip Hop. Especially that fake ass Lil Wayne.

  • @TheAcosta187 LOL

  • Man this is the nuts! Brilliant. It fits perfectly with Rappers delight choon. You could well be right about the first rap in the history of rap. Even without the music, he is def rapping - even if they didn't call it that then.

    Thanks.

  • @djgee101 That was exactly my first reaction!

    You are Welcome.

  • @Nomad7672 really cool how you put it together, very wel executed. May SOPA not take this down.

  • Its not a fake. Thats why I listed the sources. You can buy the original recording (from 1937) On itunes. There is a link to buy the original song from itunes at the bottom of the video.

The writing explains that the people in the video are from the Jubaliars (also on youtube). That video is from 1941, and is remixed over the 1937 recording of the Golden Gate Quartet. The fact that the video halfway syncs with the recording proves that they were both rapping the same song, in the same style.

  • It's so fake if this is true then remove the writing :)
