  • I received this album for my 18th birthday. I still have it.

  • Thanks very much for sharing. I wanted to download this album after last hearing it in 1978 at a friends house, but couldn't find it.

  • Saw him back then. What and awesome show. Back then he was opening for like Ted Nugent and/or Blue Oyster Cult. Have the lp also, great stuff.

  • I still have the clear red vinyl of this. Reminds me of being sixteen again.

  • I had this album, it seems to me like the tempo or recording has been speeded up a little.

  • @1woodmonger Sammy says there was no overdubs or tweaks. Said it in an interview. Just pure Rock N Roll LIVE!

  • this is my favorite track off this album !

  • @dtrocks05 For me The combination of Red and Rock And Roll Weekend schools this because of the fade out and seemingly some cutting but other wise I might actually agree.

  • @RockNEHouseNHipHop true , there are a few flaws , but over all , all the guitar work makes up for it all ; that alone was worth it's weight in gold i must say

  • @dtrocks05 I just wonder what exactly is keeping us waiting for a remaster. Its really needed!

  • Respond to this video... and i also love the bass solo in the middle too !

  • If i was sammy ... I'd join the RAC... LOL

  • Does anyone know if this was video taped as well? This is an all-time-holy-shit-off-the-charts-ass-kickin performance.

  • Such a different bass solo.

  • Montrose ..........

  • Well yeah, it was first recorded as a "Montrose" song, but Sammy wrote it before he joined the band. This is the song he played for Montrose to get the gig with the band. When he went solo, he took it with him.
