Crytek should work on the destructivity of the environments, it's cool and all at first but all the destruction is basically the same. the trees break in the same way, just at different points. wood fences break into planned pieces after a few shots. And metal bends to a specific point and thats it. They should try to randomize the way objects break or bend, because it's nothing too great, but still is kinda cool.

Call me crazy but didn't Crytek do the EXACT SAME THING as Bethesada Softworks when they showed the tech demos for Oblivion? Then once they were released the graphics were, "Merely above" the compition. I'll admit, crysis looks better than A LOT of other games, but not a huge jump they they made it out to be.

Okay, you're crazy. Crysis was truly next-gen in many ways. Compare Crysis to DOOM 3. That's the proper measure. Big leap forward.

Bethesda's Bioshock is also next-gen, and amazing, too. But the implementations of Unreal Engine 3 (used in Bioshock) I've seen so far do not match the impact of Crytek.

All you have to do is see the outdoor levels and alien cave levels in Crysis. Easily tops anything else out there.

What's funny about the promos is they are compressed video, which tends to change the experience. I don't think they're being dishonest so much as its impossible to reproduce. Plus long anticipation makes it hard to gauge expectations.

But I think the real game is damn close to what the videos showed. I feel many scenes matched the promo videos I saw to a high degree.

Secondly, Crysis DOES NOT support PhysX from Nvidia. M.E. does... The textures on Mirrors Edge are higher resolutions than Crysis.

Third: the Shadows are much more dynamic in M.E. than Crysis.

I've played both Mirror's Edge and Crysis, dumbass, and I don't even see how you can compare them. Fanboy lol? Crysis fried my brand new GFX card in a few hours on Very High, max resolution... Minimum on ME is 512x512 and at max are 1560x1560 (odd rez, I know). Stop being fanboys and admit it.

ME is nowhere near what Crysis accomplished in terms of graphics. ur right, crysis doesnt make use of ageia physics but the braking tree is part of cryteks own physics system. which is very complex. i do hope crysis 2 makes use of the agiea physics though, it would be awesome

xbox 360 can also "handle" that. wii could become difficult :-P Remember FarCry! for full detail and everything you need a pc with over 3 GHz Processor and 1 GB RAM, but they brought the game to XBOX 1! with very impressing graphics and an xbox 1 has 64 mb ram I think so if they say you'll need a PC with 4 GB RAM for crysis they can make it for 360 easily, cause it has 512 mb --FAST DDR3--, working as good as 2 GB in a PC.
