Many people think Stoner made a mistake when he was chasing Rossi, but Rossi actually used one of the dirtiest tricks in the book. He braked a little bit earlier and longer, so Stoner was coming in way to fast. When he evaded Rossi he missed his turn in point. That's why he was mad at Rossi.

Rossi knew this was the only way to beat Stoner. I would say: give him a taste of its own medicine. Would be fun to watch and that's why we want to see races like that.

1: Stoner ran wide on one of the turns the lap before when he was in the lead which showed he was folding under pressure

2: if someone's breaking early you have an opportunity to side step and out break them. Vale has use this against many opponents. Most notably when he defeated Lorenzo at Cat.

Stoner is the fastest guy on any empty track. Vale is the fastest in ANY race. There is a reason why he's world champion. Look @ Qatar 2010

To outbrake someone you have to be in the inside. And with braking early i mean in racing terms. A few meters earlier and longer is the difference. Look again you can see that stoner can't steer in because Rossi is in the inside.

Ofcourse if Stoner was leading this couldn't have happend so it's his own fault.

Rossi is just a bit of a rogue. The main has a pair of 2 solid stones unlike the rest of the MotoGP grid. TBH in Jerez Gibernau knew where Rossi was and knew couldn't actually believe he tried such a stunt so he continued as if he didn't know he was thhere to make himself look like the victim. He spent a half fucking hour getting out of the gravel afterwards. Rossi takes chances to win, he's not exactly forcing them off the track like Biaggi did to him, like i said, he just takes chances.

With 6 laps to go, Stoner was getting closer to Rossi, and I guess tried to overtake him into the last turn. He left braking for too long and came into the last turn sliding the rear heavily. He barely missed hitting Rossi. As he went off track, he might have misjudged the softness or depth of the gravel, and while trying to turn to get back on the track, lost the front. He still managed to finish 2nd, as Vermuelen was long ways back.

i agree with most people Rossi is not human when he gets on his bike, and yeah lorenzo is next. Lorenzo is one great rider but his time is not yet when Rossi retires which i do not want him to do to soon, and if Jorge is still in the motogp he will be prehaps the best rider on the track, but until then ROSSI is the best and will be the best as long as time goes on.

i had a hunch that at laguna rossi found a way to beat stoner at the mental game,something he could not do last year and something he was incredibly sucessful at against the likes of gibernau and of course biaggi. rossi broke stoners rythme from the front,not pressure from behind like he normally would and at laguna it worked a treat. stoner it seems really doesnt like this and in his haste to break away from rossi he pushed to hard and crashed.i think rossi got under his skin.

Casey Stoner vince e fa i GAP enormi solo grazie ai sistemi elettronici avanzati della Ducati, che lo fanno accelerare da metà curva... senza sarebbe molto meno forte come pilota! I think Motogp com has a bias towards Stoner, look at the news report "Pressure pays off for Rossi".

It seems as if all this report is saying is that strictly if Stoner hadn't fallen in the last two GP's then he would have won.

And it says that when Stoner fell he was 1.5 secs ahead when he was almost 1..

What do you guys think? Is this objective journalism? Read the report, let me know what you think. I sent a complaint, so maybe they change the report but I made a copy.
