  • Funny stuff. I loved that show. I enjoy watching these skits again on youtube.

  • This is so hilarious....unbelievable

  • old video but quite funny XD

  • Now THIS is comedy!!

  • Just like my wife!

She's even a red head like Carol too!

    LOL!

  • I don't know how I got to this but I'm glad that I did!

  • This was and still is my favorite comedy show Tim Conway Harvey Korman and Carol Butnett were comic genisues A lot of the comedy was improve I don't think anyone comes close to these three today that is why I don't like today's comedy shows or comedianes All they do is make fun of people abd that to me is not comedy

  • Me encanta estos dos actores muy buenos ya no repiten estos programas y saben bien que sigue habiendo gente que les gusta Gracias por subir vídeos me encantaría las biografías de cada uno de ellos en español

  • 'Is that part of your plan......To confuse me?..'

    lol

  • Chuck Norris doesn't call the wrong number. You answer the wrong phone.

  • this is so funny

  • See, there were these things called phone booths back then and they had those dotted all over the city so people could actually make calls and keep in touch. Trust me, they could've called and waited if the phone booth was close enough to the house.

  • There was no cell phones back then how could she both call and wait?

  • @98khloe Actually it was Herman and Lily Munster

  • llove it

  • @RareMusicalGems actually the first tv couple to share a bed was Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, but that was only for the first season

  • HaHa this is one I clearly remember watching as a kid! This show was so much better than anything today!

  • Is this a typical male female argument or what?

  • i love carol she is the best in the world.love her in the movie called annie.

  • I like Tim Conway especially when he's playing Einstein on their skits.

  • @bgbizkit When does he play Einstein?

  • @fjccommish Check the other Carol episodes where you can find Tim wearing long white hair. He's so hilarious and does look like Einstein.. Well, at least for me.

  • @bgbizkit Sure he looks like Einstein, but he isn't Einstein.

  • chuck norris doesnt call the wrong number you answer the wrong phone

  • Those who watched when it originally aired knew the high caliber of pure comedic genius of The Carol Burnett Show, it's creators and stars. From adults to children, we all knew the show was special and tried to impart that to others. Today there is nothing that comes close, unfortunately. Thank you Carol for many many years of laughter and memories all rolled into one!

  • wheres the gun ? omg id shoot her lol

  • i luv carol burnette!

  • Is it a signal?

  • I can totally imagine Ben Stiller doing this diologe hehe

  • You open that door and I'll blow you in half!!!

  • I absolutely love Carol!

  • TV had twin beds for couples at one time to keep it clean for TV

back then. See the Dick Van Dyke Show as well. They were always in seperate

twin beds. Maybe they should go back since so many divorces. LOL...

    Yes the times have changed.

  • A Long time ego, sketch comedy shows (points to this video) used to be funny.

  • @ we both came here to hear her voice cause of michael jackson lmao <3

  • @loveLuxuriously Wow you too huh??? lolol......Same here........

yeah the medley they did was SWEET........and she is just toooooo funny......

  • Comment removed

  • @zuneslave They were inherently counter-Puritanical by being a family of obvious demon spawn and black magic, so no surprise there. (But, I didn't know that, thanks.)

  • I was convinced the wife was being paranoid. Then I saw the ending, and it just about killed me. XD

  • Carol why didn't you bonk him upside the head?

  • Never confuse Carol Burnett or she'll shoot you.

  • @Cyclops236 Your comment totally made my day :)

  • Hahahahaha!! Lmfao.. xP

  • .....is that a signal?

  • Love this show!!! Thanks for sharing these - awesome replacement for what's on the tv these days.

  • I LOVE HER! Could you imagine this being a real conversation..... :D

  • Probably explains why they sleep in separate beds. XD

  • No matter how many times I watch this it still cracks me up. She's the best!

  • if MY girlfriend ever did this to me, I would have grabbed that gun xD

  • watch the MAKE SOME PANTS video

  • "Is that a signal?" Lol I love Carol Burnett

  • ahahahahahaha The funniest skit ever i loveeee it

  • Twin beds?

  • @leafyutube Yes, because married couples could not appear to be carnal on TV before the 80s. Lucy and Ricky had twin beds as well. Cooky.

  • @nailycai

You're right. On the other hand, Mike and Carol Brady on the "Brady Bunch" had a double bed, and that show started in 1969. Not only that, children watched it! Go figure.

  • @leafyutube Did the Stevens from Bewitched also share a double bed? Another family show. Maybe it depended on the channel/production company as to whether or not one or two beds would be shown on camera.

  • @writerspen010

Whatever. But it had nothing to do with the era.

  • Comment removed

  • @leafyutube Back then, it was not ok for a man and woman to be in the same bed, even if portraying married people. That's how television was back then.

  • @leafyutube Back then, it was not ok for a man and woman to be in the same bed, even if portraying married people. That's how television was back then.

  • @leafyutube lmao that might be apart of the skit, them being in seperate beds and then you can see they're having marital problems lol

  • @leafyutube at this point, it was still considered scandalous to portray couples in the same bed. you'll see that ricky and lucy also have twin beds.

  • @phantasmagoriarc

    Except in The Brady Bunch.

  • @leafyutube

The censors didn't let people sleep in the same bed on a tv show.

  • @wolfmerrick1

    Except Brady Bunch.

  • @wolfmerrick1 They were allowed by this time (The Bob Newhart Show is best example from this period and it preceded this show in the lineup). They are in separate beds here for staging the dialogue.

  • @leafyutube Yeah, some couples sleep like that. Probably because they both needed a different type of mattress. One probably needed a firmer one, one a softer one. Which is probably why they made the Temperpedic mattress.

  • @leafyutube well actually I know back in the day, couples were not allowed to be shown as sleeping in the same bed because it suggested sexual things. Not too sure about 70's television but I know like in the 50's and 60's that was sort of taboo to show that on t.v......

  • @brittquin2009 I agree, it wasn't until the late 70's when they started sleeping in the same bed. My great grandparents don't even sleep in the same bed. I asked why and they simply replied because they go to bed at different times

  • @brittquin2009 What's really odd is by the 70s TV couples COULD be shown in bed together in America, but in England, where they've never been narrow minded in their films and TV shows, always had married people in separate beds in the 70s horror show Thriller.

  • @brittquin2009 yes you are right. but i also know that in some episodes of I LOVE LUCY they sometimes slept in one big bed. then again it might have just been for the episode skit. they do it off and on in the years.

  • @leafyutube Would save many marriages...

  • @therealgarygnu LOL!

  • during those days, they weren't allowed to show a man and a woman sharing the same bed-so that's why their in different beds.

  • @JesusIsLord631

    Except on the Brady Bunch?

  • @leafyutube Actually, The Munsters were the first TV couple to share a bed, if I remember correctly!

  • @RareMusicalGems

    it was the flintstones.

  • @JesusIsLord631 Not here the skit works best on different beds. That rule was before this was made.

  • YEAH CAROL IS THE BEST!!!!! EAST SIDE SAN JO 408

  • Carol was just on the Rachel Ray show...She is so talented. I wish they'd bring this show back or out on DVD's. Such fond memories!

  • @blondfashionista They do have it on DVD. My mother ordered some in December!

  • I luv Carol Burnett, I grew up watching her show (reruns by then) and she will be sorely missed when she is gone. Funnier than Lucille Ball and as wackily inspired as Mel Brooks. Cheers Carol!

  • Hahaha

  • Carol burnett was so freaking great. You don't see talent like that around anymore. Always loved her show. She always made me laugh when I needed it the most. God bless her!

  • Twin beds, hideous headboard and blankets - that's the 70s for you. Love this show and miss it.

  • @Muirmaiden I was thinking that too!

  • @kayjo101 Yep, I was born at the end of the 70s but I have an appreciation of it (despite some questionable fashions and fads) and the great television there was back then. I'm so proud to share my birthday with Carol Burnett. She's a national treasure.

  • Was saying "i gotta get up early" the signal?

  • @OaGuardian she didn't pass away

  • fantastic!

  • superb

  • I remember this skit when it first aired..what I remember most was how tacky and cheap I thought their beds were..LOL
