Awesome bro! I have a o'l Colman canoe I take it out on adventures every now and again, Hills Creek Res., Diamond Lake, Lake of the Woods, Summit, and Klamath are some of my faves, just me and my Flintlock, sometimes a friend comes along sometimes not, its good to see I'm not the only one who loves to paddle in somewhere.
shallow rocky rivers i'd get the sp3! i've just ordered one. got a royalex boat but gets dented and battered on the slightest rock. maybe i got one thats a bit soft! you need to start eating lots of weetabix/taking steroids if you are gonna carry the sp3 one around though. but i like a challenge
Is it the expedition grade RX, or the RX lite? I plan to buy one, but I am undecided on the material. Kevlar is out of the question, as I plan to use the boat on shallow (rocky) rivers, in addition to lakes.
I watched you put that canoe on your shoulders nd haul it. those are heavy; somebody ought to design a wheel set up; turn the canoe into a giant wheel barrel, haul your gear through the woods to the next water way and plop it into the water and go..lol

Love your videos. Are you using a kneeling thwart? If so does it hamper your stance when you are poling?

Excellent footage, wish I was back up that way again. Course one would really have to be in shape to do what you've just demonstrated.
