I loved your video , I just had my Gastic Sleeve done on May 23,2011. My insurance in New Jersey is now paying the cost of the operation. Insurances are now paying for this as a health related surgery I am at day 4 post op and feel great so far! Love the support and watching videos sure helps with the journey!

Hey Andy,

I got my Sleeve the 10th of oktober (the 9th i had to be in the hospital allready) and in one week i lost 20 pounds! This week i didnt weight myself, friday i have to go to the hospital for a check up and then they gonna weigh me.. Its almost time for you and ur wife.. its gonna be ok!!!!!!

Hi, i had my vertical sleeve on july 7 2008,, i am 10 weeks out, and i lost 49lb...had it in Ecuador,,, it was great the way they treated me.... and believe me, it will work,, the first month i lost no so much,,, but eventually i am on about 3 to 4 pounds a week... just stick to the rules, dont give up... and be strong.. you will not regret it once you see this weight falling. I had VGS on 8/14/08,lost 26 lbs as of today 8/26. I love it. Hardly no pain. I only regret not haveing weight loss surgery sooner,I went to Mexico and had a great surgeon. I am 55 now. Thansk Judy

Hey! Just came across you.  The gastric sleeve is a great surgery. I went for the full Duodenal Switch though for a one and done approach. Having your pyloric valve and not having a blind stomach is a great thing. You will be happy. And like you said if you don't get the full results you want you can always get the DS part done to add the bypass for malabsorbtion. Congrats on your choice and I will go on now and watch the rest of your videos. Cheers! Tom
