Yes it is dolomite, but what was said is "Workers harvested adjacent hardwood forests to fuel the tremendous fires used to melt the ore and quarried limestone rock to help purify it. The limestone was quarried from Inland Lime and Stone Quarry at the end of county road 431 in Gulliver, MI.
I love Fayette, visit it every year. Great video except one mistake. The mineral at Snail Shell harbor is dolomite, not limestone.
