what makes you say that? bowfishing takes patience, accuracy, practice, and if you use a recurve like i do, alot of endurance. what does a rod and reel take? a cast and a beer. sure the actual catching part is much quicker and more violent than with a rod and reel, and that is probably what you base your entire argument on, but believe me when i say this. bowfishing takes a hell of alot more effort to learn than traditional fishing. in other words, something a lazy person would give up on quick.
