She died of a heart attack at age 32 in 1990 during a tour in Australia. Her on and off heroin addiction did not help her - She apparently got too strong a dose in Australia and perished.

Those pickups look just like the Guild humbuckers I put on my Gibson MelodyMaker back in 1975, so I would say it's a Guild but I can't make out what is on the headstock.
