  • Fuck he looks crabby.

  • @mrIsaac333 He does have his crabby moments, but he's actually not that crabby. He was transported in my car nearly 2 hours in the pouring rain after I just met him. He was also recovering from his beak injury from an Amazon bite. A lot of birds look pissed off after a bath. My daughter's bird sometimes has the Angry Birds eyebrow furrow or horns after taking a bath.

  • aw he/she is cute! i am hoping to get a gcc for my birthday is her/his beak better now since i know this is a old video

  • @DaxonizAmazin I hope you get a great gcc for your birthday. His beak is so much better, but not all the way. It will take a long time for the beak to grow out so the damage on that side isn't there anymore. He go the injury in October 2010. I think it will take another year to completely grow out.

  • @happyinlove97 oh ok does it bother him at all? it would be awesome if you made some videos on gcc care i have been researching them non stop but sometimes web sites can have false information and i really want the best for my bird. do you have a play mate for Iggy?

  • @DaxonizAmazin He doesn't seem bothered at all even when he first had the injury. He doesn't have a playmate, but I have other birds. He plays with humans. He loves to bathe in the tub with some water lightly sprinkling on him from the faucet. He eats sprouts, seeds, pellets, and fruits and vegetables. He isn't into toys, but he has a few that he likes. He chews on paper and other shreddables, but he doesn't aggresively rip things up like some birds. He's very quiet and not nippy for a gcc.

  • they say that feeding them grapes isnt a good idea, idk but it isnt healthy for them, kinda like dogs.

  • I hope Iggy gets better.

  • @avianlover1 His vet said he will be fine and that his beak will grow out and be perfect again. It will just take a long time for the beak to fill back in. He gets an antibiotic ointment on his beak twice a day until his beak is healed. The vet didn't thikn it needed to be filled in with acrylic or anything because no major damage was done despite the way his beak looks. The main concern is that he eats a balanced diet. His beak is sore so he doesn't want to eat as much.
