  • more tips for finding a legit modeling agency are at my blog Google Peitte Modeling Tips

  • Be prepared that within print modeling you do have to produce your own photos, comp cards and model marketing tools, the agencies within print modeling normally work with their models non-exclusive and do not invest in their models, so you do have to be prepared for the self-investment. This does not mean pay the agency to work with them, this means managing your own photos while you work non-exclusive with agencies (more than one).

  • paying to work with a modeling agency is always a scam

  • @erjonatuda yes.

  • Paying to work with an agency ahead of time, in my opinion is usually always a scam. A shorter girl should target print modeling agencies and talent agencies and those agencies do not invest in their models like a fashion agency does, and the model does have to provide her own comp cards usually, but that doesn't mean paying the agency for that printing or photography service, often doing so leads to a scam. So becareful. Manage your own photography to skip scams. Work non-exclusive w agencies

  • Also, I had an appoitment with whilhelmina in pittsburg today, but i wasnt able ot make it and one unprofessional member was calling me and i felt like he was forcing me to come out to the meeting also said i HAVE to take photos with them. That did'nt sound right, is that a scam?

  • I have a question and i hope u can help me out. 1. other then mailing you your comp cards our to agencies over and over again, what are other ways we can market ourselves? Im also an actress and i know other ways we can market ourselves, by videos and going ot open calls, but how about print/commercial modeling for petitie girls?

  • i wonder though if they're a scam how come they're not out of business or sued??

  • Lawsuits take years to resolve and are not cheap. Once a company is found out to be a scam, many times they will move on and work under a new business name. It happens all the time.

  • yesss ur right there are a bunch who have changed their name

  • simple...if they charge for ANYTHING before getting you work/...its a scam :)
