Guess what! You can take full notes and it will be completely accurate if you use note plus . I use it every day in class it's the best.

thank you very much, this answers FINALLY my question. in my opinion Steve Jobs made a big mistake with decrying the stylus as input method for tablet devices. if the ipad 2 would offer an active digitizer it would be the ultimative machine to please nearly everyone. on the one hand the large number of consumers (as it does already) but on the other hand it would also become for the first time a serious, productive working tool for education, enterprise and even artists. Very sad :(

@split29445 Yep. Second that. Notes Plus is basically all the good features of the other notes apps into one great app. Check out MahaaloiPad's review of it on youtube.

Forget Penultimate, it is little more than a toy.

neu.Notes is far superior (and free).

If you want graphs, grids, lines, other shapes etc, get Note Taker HD.

I use both the above apps for doing/teaching maths. Mainly neu.Notes, actually. Both apps are great through a projector.

Btw, Boxwave = Griffin = Targus. I use the same stylus. It's great.

There is an app called notes plus that I think is much better than penultimate. It does quite well for writing in small spaces with precision. Che k it out in the AppStore
