Nessun Dorma from Puccini's Turandot would be absolutely awesome for Miku, especially with all of the upper range usage. It could work her vibrato something awesome, too~:3
He's more likely to be blowing chunks about the way his music is shoved down people's throats as "classy music" than about some japanese vocal synthesizer. Anyway, great job.
This music is not boring! But being a cellist who only plucks the bass notes (mind you because Mozart was imitating the guitar), must be boring if you don't enjoy the music.
I don't think they meant mozart is boring...I think they meant the cello part...it does sound a tad boring to play even if it does sound good as a whole(I am a cellist myself)
Vocaloid Prima's version sounds better (she's a soprano, after all), but this one is quite adorable too -^_^-. Making Miku sing in other languajes, and an aria, is hard.
Thanks for responding! FIGARO was the first opera I performed in and so it has special memories for me. I know it's asking a lot, but would you consider doing Donna Elvira's "Mi Tradi" from DON GIOVANNI? I think that would "rock"!
Thanks. I had a chance to enjoy a period-limited trial version of Miku and found the software could deal with the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) to some extent. But since Miku's database had only Japanese pronouciations and many IPA letters' sounds didn't exist in Japanese, the notes I put such kind of letters were simply ignored. Well, I know I was a bit too wishful. :)

Mozart just threw up all over the people in his mass grave...thanks for making the greatest composer hurl chunks everywhere in the after life.

I'm glad to hear that.
Thanks for your suggestion, that sounds like a very good idea! At present, I'm working on another pieces, but I'll consider that possibility.

Great job! I was just curious as to how you did the animation? Was that computer generated or some other technique? Thanks.

It is from the opera, "The marriage of Figaro". Mozart did a lot of operatic music.

Very interesting. I wonder how you enter the lyrics into the software. Did you transliterate the lyrics into Japanese letters?
htsuji 4 years ago 2
Yes, since Hatsune-Miku does not support English pronunciation, they have to enter the lyrics in Japanese.
"Fly Me to the Moon" sung by Miku was also created in the same way.
