  • to @sword6204 : we used a Canon PowerShot SD1100IS ...a $159 camera, primarily a still camera but as you say, makes great video, very easy to use. We bought a Canon Vixia HF200, a high-def video camera this fall to use for DVD instruction but haven't begun using it yet. The Powershot works great for these YouTube videos. Software: only Windows Movie Maker. I expect to "graduate" to something better once we begin using the HD video camera.
