The reason people make club-teams (like the Aston Villa team you played) is mainly because the players are rated higher on UT than in a normal match. Thats why you may see Man united teams, as they have IF Hernandez who is an 86...whereas the normal version is 79 i think? Thats a big difference, so i can understand it completely

@tinysaint10 the discarding method is only useful for ps3 players, because as nepenthes said contracts on ps3 are super expensive, and I agree with him. You have mentioned that you are getting gold contracts for 150-200 , so you are probably playing on xbox. BRONZE ps3 contracts cost 200-350 coins which is the same prize as a gold xbox contract, so that's why the discarding method is useful on ps3!

i dont find the discarding way useful cause i buy normal gold contracts for 150-200, and i have many managers which give me 27% more on contracts when i apply on player, so if i buy a normal gol, i would get i think 13 for gold plaayers + 27% ( 2 more games) = 15 so much less money wasted

and fred is only useful if u do tricks alot, if not he is no very good cause he is slow but he gives good chip through balls

@NepentheZ I don't know.. I guess it's just because I'm on xbox 360 (cheap contracts) and I get very OCD about the players playing their preferred formation. I noticed you discarded a player in a previous ep. who liked your formation and bought the same player who didn't. I can see the logic though. You're saving a few coins and I guess the formation stuff doesn't matter when you keep adding better players to your team

Yeah, I only do this at the start to build a solid team, and a solid coin bank, before embarking on looking for players in the correct formations. It's funny, people have recommended and discussed so many things I'm already doing in episodes 10 and 11, haha.
