The piece you replace is called a bushing, you buy them from airsoft stores or get them online. just bring your gun in and take out the pushing inside. and get a new one.

Hi - great video and comments! Very informative. Have you had any problems with the bit of the magazine that punctures the C02 cylinder getting blunt through continued use? I bought mine of Red Wolf about 2 years ago and now neither of my mags will pierce a cylinder properly and I haven't been able to find them sold separately. Have you had this issue?

Will this mod lower the FPS? I've been looking into picking one of these up but they shoot a bit hot at 450ish+ FPS and I want to get it around 360-380FPS.

Not that I know of. It's alot less effecient than AEG's, but far more realistic :)

Yes. W.A. and KWC Mini Uzi's are exactly the same except the W.A. version has the Green Gas modification done to the magazine. You can do the same modification to the KWC Magazines, you just need the Green Gas Converter which you can order from KWC.

kwcgun(dot)com. you can email them from the website, and in the email let them know what you need and ask for a quote, they will email you back within a couple weeks if not sooner. It depends on how busy they are at the time. KWC has good service! My beleif is KWC likes to ship larger orders, and not just a part or 2, so make sure you order a couple things from them at the same time, like spare parts. I HIGHLY recommend buying a coupld Z13 pieces since the break every couple months of use.

the new disc does really results in more efficient gas consumption. BUT do u know if it also has effects upon the overall power FPS of the gun?ive seen various FPS claims(from 500 to 300)concerning KWC/Cybergun models.Did u notice any change?more than that,did u gain more fps with the silencer or maybe lost?gun works good with soda can vid but i wonder if distance was greater than 50cm, results probably would be WAY different?(no soda can penetration at all?).ever test drived next to a DROZD?

I have not tested the FPS because I dont have a Chrono, but I know in stock format in good (warm) weather, the KWC Mini Uzi FPS is around 450+. The silencer should not impair the fPS, but will only make the BB more accurate if anything. My gun came stock with the airtight disc, I just did this modification in the video for "old" owners of the Mini Uzi in case they need help doing the mod.

i just wandering how powrfull that airgun realy is, since opinions in the net vary. ever tried shooting cans from greater distance? does penetration of bb occurs?both sides?

Yeah at 20-30 feet it punctures cans for sure. But that can be misleading since cans are different widths in general. But it can shred a typical soda can like coke or schwepps ginger ale at 20 feet or less. The gun is accurate at ranges of 150+ feet, but never shot a can at that far, and doubt it would puncture that :)

I just tested My Mini Uzi Today at Ben & Molly's in Berlin New Jersey. The Best we got it to do was 516fps with his Chrono. The temperture was around 61 degree. Not bad at all for an SMG. I luv kwc Products, and i luv My Mini Uzi. I am Very Happy with today's Performance..

The Old one is actually black, and the New design is White. So, if your Uzi already has a white one, then you do indeed have the New one already installed...

I dont know off hand, but I think with the old design, you would get about 1.5- 2 magazines worth in semi (depending on the weather), and cant even empty a whole magazine in full auto :(

Its 36f in london now. I haven't lubed the gun since getting it i have also used it only a couple of times. i'm new to airsoft so i'm a novice with maintance on gbb guns. do you know where i can get guides on how to lube and clean the uzi properly. plus i have other gbb's like ksc glock 18 hfc mac 11 hfc glock 17 kjworks kp-01 full metal i worried i might damage these guns if i try to take them apart with out a guide.

Yeah, 36F is too cold for gas guns :( I have the same problem here in Manhattan. My Mini Uzi and Mac-11 only work properly in the summer. I have had extensive chats with the technical people at KWC, and i'm pretty good at cleaning the Mini Uzi. I'll be making vids of this soon for both Uzi and Mac-11. I get some Red Gas today also, and i'm gonna see if it helps performance with the Mini Uzi.

i have just installed the new airtight disc i recieved from kwc today. But i find that i am still getting the same amount of shot per c02 capsule as i did with the old design air tight piece does anyone know why this is. I thought you were mean't to get 2.5 mags worth from the the new desigm air tight disk.

With my gun, i am getting 2-3 clips on semi-auto, and 1-2 clips on full auto with the new design. It also depends on the weather, how clean/lubed your gun is, etc.. Right now since its 24F out and i'm getting about 3/4 of a mag on full auto with the modification. But in the summer i get 2 clips sometimes.

The part is so small & light, its not even really worth much as far as money goes, so I dont know what they charge for it. I received one with my order of Mini Uzi parts.

you can warm up the co2 bulbs by placing them in hot water for a bit (not TOO hot!).

Good idea. I've used those small "sport heat" bags and put it in a pocket with the co2 powerlets, or the extra clips :)

A long tightbore VSR barrel extending into the silencer will also increase velocity and accuracy.

Many thanks for posting this clip.The same results can be had if you replace the plastic disc with a hi-capa piston head (shooters design or pdi)although it will need to shimed slightly with PTFE tape.Add a recoil buffer at the rear of the receiver to increase R.O.F.

Go to KWC website & check the Technology section. You will see a link to PDF file called "Airtight C02 Uzi" this also shows the difference of the 2 discs.This disc I received from KWC directly. I needed some parts for the Mini Uzi, and got it for free. As far as I know, only KWC carries these, but I dont think they actually "sell" them. You are best off emailing them directly on how to obtain one. I would also open up your Mini Uzi, and make sure you done have the "new" one already.

I read some opinions about this Uzi and everyone says, that on 1 CO2 capsule you can fire only about 40 bb's - 1clip. You said, that your Uzi gets about 2-3 clips of bb's on 1 clip on semi auto, and about 1.5-2 clips on full auto. That's huge difference.

With a well kept/lubed gun, on 1 C02, with no modification on the KWC Mini Uzi, you get about 2 clips in semi auto, and 1 clip in full auto. With the airtight C02 nozzle, you get about 2-3 clips on semi, and 1.5-2 on auto . Thats my gun. I hope it works for others and for the Western Arms version. :)
