New KSM Ribbon Microphones from Shure

I notice Shure state the mics are "Assembled" in USA. Like Audix mics are. Which sounds to me like the parts are made in china where they make their condensers. So essentially you're paying $2,500 for a chinese mic. I'll buy a $100 chinese generic ribbon mic and replace the ribbon thanks.
