i downloaded mine then cut it and pasted it in the themed place but it still crashes

Then either

1.) you didn't install it correctly, or

2.) You tried constructing a big building, and forgot to turn off shadows.

Try going to the main menu and turning off shadows first. If that doesn't work then re-install spaceworx.

got to the bit where you choose style/themed and it said all files extracted ok or something. Then you say open your folder it will be there... WHAT FOLDER??? plus then i checked style/themed there was nothing in there.

Just at the time this was the only set my computer would let me download.

It wasnt until later that i figured out how to download vodhins sets.

i have a total nub question. How on earth do i make pitch black rooms and light them myself? all i can find is a few flame torches and rooms i make a re still light =(

You can make pitch black rooms by downloading the spaceworx custom scenery set.

Then you can light the roomk by downloading the hangar sets because they have lights that you can hang from the ceiling.

Im not sure exactly where to find the hangar set, but do some searching on the atari forums.

once you have it in the game you place it in just like any other scenery.

It might be where your clicking, if its towards the bottom of your hole thats why its not working. Click towards the top of the hole to fill it with water. If thats not working then it might just be your game, but thats probably not it.

ive lost my custom scenery, where does it go when you fist download it? i downloaded steel jungle 1 & 2, moved 2 to the right file, but now ive lost the other

when you said right click and cut. What does that do? And where do i paste it.

Instead of clicking copy and making two of the same files, cut will take just the one file, and move it someplace else.

And you paste it in

Local disk (C:)

Program files

Atari

Roller coaster tycoon 3

Style

Themed

The shyguys custom scenery is different to upload, but it must be the way you are uploading it to the computer that keeps messing it up.

Im not saying its your fault, im just saying that it might be in the wrong place.

When i put the pumper steel works on to a memory stick and into my laptop, i put it in my atari/rct3/style/themed;it worked it was there on scenery as JCATS Steelworks, i clicked on it and it went back onto my desktop with an error saying "NO SID for SVD; no idea what that means please help !

easier way - download the file and when it opens in winzip, right click the file (or hilight for multiple files) and click extract to specifyed folder.

select desktop. when its extracted, find your rct3 shortcut, right click it and click open file location. open style and then then themed

go to your desktop and drag and drop the extracted file into "Themed"

close down everything, go into rct3 and it should be in your scenery section :D
