@Tutorialesfree Actually there are tens of thousands of programs available for linux, and as they are written as pet projects by most programmers they are often better than the windows program that does the same... AND you can run most windows programs using wine or another similar utility.
@Tutorialesfree 1st of all, linux has a great amount of programs and if u can't find them or install them then that's your problem. And FYI linux can run windows apps using "wine" (just like mac), Doesn't have 100% compatibility but it runs most of them.
@PJMAN2952 No shit how does that have anything to do with what I said ? Google "DELL Ubuntu"
I said... " DELL sales Laptops with Linux Ubuntu installed on their webs site " , and that is true... You can buy a DELL computer with Linux Ubuntu already installed.
I dont see myself switching to Linux anytime soon. Ive been using Windows operating systems since I was 4 and now being 19 with all my machines running Windows and my current University course which specialises in Windows machines, I think im gonna stick to Windows. Im not closed minded, but when it comes to Linux I know nothing and I feel like im 4 again because I dont know how to do anything but change my desktop background and that makes Linux irritating. I do respect Linux however.
Eh Ubuntu is just the tip of the iceberg. I think to have a full experience with Linux you need to get your hands dirty with Arch, Gentoo and a few other distros. Those are the really powerful distros in my opinion. I'm not saying Ubuntu isn't great, it is, and it's where I started my Linux experience. I'm just saying it gets better. :)
Excellent choice open source is the future, applications running smoothly, you can open up an editor to program in C without having to pay extra, you can edit your fotos and videos the way you want even better than commercial programs under ms windows. The future of the gaming is probably in the consoles...
I really like linux for its cool OS cuz lots of ppl don't know about it and personally i think that windows is the best OS but thats my opinion so w.e. and i just don't like mac at all
Yes, linux is a good alternative and many times, if something i couldnt do in linux - what i have done in window/mac, i checked google - searched ubuntu forums, and many times - it could be done on linux too :)
shit, ubuntu is a piece of crap. try other linux distro or even unix

Yes, that buzz is very annoying. Any chance you could re-record this?

@aaronchall Sorry I probably won't re-record.

@nu2rage Too bad, you have a very unique perspective on Linux that would be incredible to share, but the buzz really hurts it. Please reconsider! :)

linux is really cool but i find its hard to use so i just stick to windows and mac just sucks completely
speedy47800 2 years ago
you do know you can run linux on a mac. what you meant was mac os sucks.
I disagree with you because i had more troubles on my pc then on my mac.
runing any linux os is very Simular to gui linux like ubuntu
because under the hood they both us unix like windows use dos.
