Near the end, he takes out his wallet, and kisses what seems to be pictures. Maybe children, lover, or close family members. He's clearly waiting for someone important to him that never came.
This pigment is starting to fade (smokers usually have an atrophic, slightly pigmented grey appearance of the skin)
You won't be living for long (smoking like a damn chimney will kill him soon! Every cigarette you smoke reduces your expected life span by 11 minutes!)

It seems like the "It's been watching you" portion of the lyrics may have something to do with the video. Most people would just walk by and not think anything of a man smoking, but the camera sees him the whole time, and by assosciation anyone watching the camera knows this man has a problem, where a random passerby wouldn't see anything wrong.
I wish these kinds of bands would actually make music videos related to the song. I'm getting very few parts of this relating to the song This video doesn't make any sense, and it's boring.

well i seen you guys at DFB in syracuse and your amazing i was right there up front and your guitar dude was right there in my face and i was like ummmmm evryone was screaming and pullin on him i just poked him with my finger and took some amazing pics!!! but then,....... dun dun dunnnn someone stole my fucking phone !!! so0o mad but whatever i still have the memory and a band ill rock out to for a b it

@chrikinsman88 i saw them in pittburgh! :D i put an extremely bright rainbow anklet on craig while he was standing over me. xP but srsly ssuuuxx about your phone. i had pics from on OM&M concert, and the next day, my screen cracked. -____-

@WeCameAsRomanssss I'm getting sick of all these people that think a band has to scream the whole time to be cool. He changed his sound from chiodos probably because he's grown up a little bit you should try it.
