  • why would u sell baltic birch boards. make a maple one and ill consider

  • Can you make me an apex 34

  • Where did you buy the veneer

  • @sheelpatel1

How many sheets of Baltic Birch did you use? And What size as well? I was told to use either 4 - 6 sheets of 1/8 inch baltic birch, or 2 sheets of 1/4 inch baltic birch. Which is better? I want a flexy deck.

  • How did you get that finished shiny look for the wood? Is that fibreglass?

And if it is, is it necessary to apply it?

  • @TheMuffledCracker yes the bottom of the board is fiberglassed, you dont have to fiberglass, but if you do it gives the board more strength

  • Looks just like the honey rogue ;)

sick video, might consider making my own board as well.

  • hey so i was wondering if you put the glue on then put in the press right after or if you put the glue on then let it dry then put it in the press? thanks

  • @mainestreetsurfers the way i did it is i actually wet the board with water and placed each ply into the press until it dried, than i placed all three of them in the press together with glue in between them.

  • @sheelpatel1 can you please make a video on how to make your press, cuz i have a mlot difficulties with that

  • @Livingformusic666 hey its very simple man, just take a 4x4 wood stump and form a shape to it and screw it to a sturdy base check out my other videos you might get some idea on how to make the press, its very cheap and effective.

  • How much do you sell your custom boards for?

  • @redmar333 the board price depends on the work you want done on it, the shape of the board, and fiberglassed or not, e-mail me if you are interested and we can discuss more about it at sheel008in@gmail.com

  • wat was that sheet you put on your bored??

  • @dailyshuffle baltic birch

  • Nice bro! ;P

  • Apex 37....

  • @5620703810 Slightly differnt

  • I am just wondering how much would you e willing to sell that board for

  • @sheelpatel1 I'm going to start making these for my first time, with the fiber glass resin do i need to mix it in with fiber glass resin hardener? Also what kind of wood did you use? and lastly how do you get the bend in the board?

  • Did u use veneer or plywood?

  • @Mongiloyd I used 1/4 inch thick 3 sheets of plywood

  • @sheelpatel1 Did fibre glass make the deck less flexie?

  • @LongboardBail yes, but not by much

  • do you fiberglass after or before you would paint it?

  • @135wassup I would fiberglass before painting

  • What kind of wood did you use and where did you get it and how much was it?

  • @MrLongbord23 i used birch wood, price varies according to the thickness that you get, and you can just contact your local lumberyard and they would be able to help you find it.

  • interested in selling?

  • what kind of wood did you use? and how many sheets? and if i were to do everything you did with all the same materials and all how much would it cost?

  • how long should i leave it in the press for?

  • @tnullmeyer I would say 24 hours, mostly until all of the glue in between the sheets dry up...

  • what happened to the lovely wood finish? fibreglasss over it?

  • @dylancu I placed clear grip tape on it, its still there but you just can't see it in the pictures

  • very well done

  • do you think that board is just as a good as a brand board?

  • @SunshineCoastSliding Yes, I would say it is, if not better

  • how much currency would it take to acquire such a board?

  • what kinda of wood would you suggest because im thinkin of using maple veneer plywood thinkness about 1/16 and about 6 to 9 layers

  • Your email doesn't work bro

  • @MinnesotaLongboarder it should work,try this, sheel008in@gmail.com

  • dose it bite because it looks like it but the board is great

  • ...you're boards are the best home mades I've seen yet! Beautiful!

  • I live in the U.S. and yes you can add custom words to it, email me if you are interested at sheel008in@gmail.com

  • @MrHockey214 I live in US

  • how thick should I make one?

  • @defun5 I would say it depends on if you want to fiberglass it or not, if you are going to make it thin and if you are not make it thick

  • do you fiberglass both sides or just the top or bottom?

  • @Spencer102905 I would suggest fiberglassing just the bottom of the board, if you fiberglass both sides it might be too stiff.

  • @sheelpatel1 I'm going to be making a longboard soon, and I have a few questions.

Should I paint the board before I put on the fiberglass or after? And how many plies of wood did you use and what thickness? thanks

  • what is the fiberglass called???

  • what kind of wood did you use

  • could u make a dancer type board?? ve been wanting 1 of those

  • How many boards have you made? This one turned out pretty nice... better than my first attempt, anyway. Did you just have to make a rectangle for the drop-thru, or did you adjust the cut-out later?

  • dude that thing is so good! ive never seen a homemade board that came out as nices as that and its a drop through. nice job man

  • @alwayselement Hey thanks

  • how much for you to make one longboard if someone wanted one.

  • Thanks for the advice guys, that is a really good idea.

  • great build, love the classic look. and yeah put some washing under your bolts, it helps spread out the weight and helps prevent stress cracks
