I used to listen to this and other songs by her and Blondie when I was going through one of the worst times of my life. I was homeless and many people who should have cared about me were fiercely against me after certain things happened. This and other songs by her and Blondie were like a friend when I had nobody. @Heavensent1972 no, this song was written by debbie and leigh foxx . debbie originally recorded this song with joey ramone, but her record company rejected that version
