  • I heard a couple of album cuts of this man many years ago, but he just didn't register at the time. Now I see why. You have to actually have to SEE this man to get the full impact of his presentation. He was a master showman. No wonder he was the #1 cabaret draw in NYC throughout the 1950's, then signed a 3 yr contract in Vegas in 1958 paying him 26K a week! With this presentation he packed the house nightly. Amazing performer, and to boot, he was a direct descendant of Daniel Boone.

  • who is that singing pse

  • mr daniels, old master!!

  • Agreed!

  • A few weeks ago one of the movie channels ran "He Laughed Last" - so I hope Frank's other movies will appear soon.

  • I have that movie and I also saw it on TV when it showed. I think the same of it as I did when it first came out in 1956. It's just plain silly. Coulmbia should have given Frankie some decent rolls.

  • Just saw this movie on TV tonight and I thought the sequence with Daniels and his partner was the highlight (no disrespect to Frankie Laine--he was great too!)

  • Try There´s a Rainbow Round my Shoulder. Same personnel.

  • It's On The Way

  • BIILLY WAS SO SO GREAT!!

  • Thanks a lot, Markalson. Miss this movie a lot. Your next mission, sir, in case you choose to accept it, is to find Cruisin´Down The River. Dick Haymes sings Pennies From Heaven and Billy Daniels Sing You Sinners. Richard Quine directed. Keep on truckin´.

  • I would love to take you up on the mission but I don't have the movie or know where to get it. Many of the movies of yesteryear like

Frankie's movies were never put out for public sale either in VHS or DVD by the companies that made them.

  • I AGREE!!!
