  • Does anyone know what Rodgers says at 1:57?

  • Kossoff best sidekick with Rodgers. No one else comes close.

  • i only wish jimmy and paul met instead of jimmy and robert

  • Paul's voice sounds really, really powerful here. No doubt, he is a one of a kind rock singer. Singers just don't sound like this anymore. I think his singing on Layin' Down The Law (1991) is just smoking hot!

  • Paul Rodgers reminds me to Bon Scott !

  • sure looks like Jimmy Page on guitar to me

  • Singing, Song Writing, Guitar Playing, Piano Playing, and Harmonica...Mr. Rodgers can do it all very well!

  • Thankyou so much for uploading this, What a great song! LOL at Jimmy the way he's dancing and trying to get P Rodgers attention and he just ignored him but he was really getting into it which i love and that's what it's all about!

  • @RockNRollGiiirl Paul never ignored Jimmy, he's about the AUDIENCE though! Are they enjoying it, and digging it. Oh, and even if Warners got hold of Paul Rodger's Cut Loose, Gotta work that LP up on the site, it's too good to keep getting ignored, the fact Paul played everything on it is news!

  • @MetallicBill Well it certainly looked like he was giving him the cold shoulder, like he was embarrassed of him or something.

  • I love the song Cut Loose, do I need to upload that one to enjoy it on YT???

  • @MetallicBill B/c it's a WMG track is probably the reason why it's not at YT. Don't you just love WMG? Man I swear...!

  • @bucky468 On one of my tech vids, I have Don Henley solo in the background, it passed by the YT gates!! hahaha

  • 1979 Page was on drugs alltime, very bad sound

    Here Page plays perfect

  • Jimmy Page is the BEST !!! and also he has great hair in this concert xD

  • I think Jimmy is fantastic here. Great to see him in such good spirits considering all the trouble he was having at the time.

  • Jimmy Page was rocking out... aswas Paul Rodgers. Love them both lots!! :-)

  • I think Page is so fucking entertaining, it's unbelievable. Everyone can speculate as to what is going on, but we don't have a clue. It's easy to sit on the side lines and try to figure out what is going on, but we really don't. I see at least 2 great musicians having a great time. If you see something else, that's life. Rock on Jimmy and Paul.

  • what a voice! incredible

  • "The Firm" should at least be in the tags, since it's Page and Paul together...

  • Paul Rodgers and Jimmy page. My favorite vocalist and favorite guitarist. Must be why I like The Firm so much.

  • Paul and Pagey and Simon Phillips on the skins...what could be better- some of music's finest hour.

  • cocaine's a hell ofa drug!

  • Actually it's heroin.

  • Rodgers is playing the Les Paul that Clapton gave to Paul Kossoff in trade. I assume Rodgers got it after Koss died. Was auctioned for the Kossoff Charity several years back...

  • @impala327 On the expanded audio track of this song also posted on youtube, Rodgers states that he is borrowing Andy Fairweather's guitar a few seconds before this video started.

  • Everybody, listen to Paul Rodgers voice, fantastic!

  • @GeneVRocks I'm not listening to Paul Rodgers voice...he's got a great voice, but it's not his vocal talent that interests me....oh lordy! Do the pants fit the song...or "the song fits the pants?" Lord luv the 70's...whew!

  • @snowy16100 hey this clip is from A.R.M.S concerts in 1983,not 70`s. But great pants anyway :-))

  • Right near the beginning of this video I thought "whoever that guitarist is, HE'S sure a Paul Rodgers fan." Then I realize it's Jimmy Page - wow. He was having a blast. Cool video, thanks for posting it.

  • Is that Bill Payne on keys????

  • Chris Stainton. Was with Joe Cocker and Clapton forever...the whole band is English here.

  • Thanks for posting all these great PR vids.. I could listen to him sing all night long!

  • hey, what an early P.R. and the great J.P. too...great old vid!

    special, extra one...

  • This looks like the moment Jimmy Page started having fun again.

  • Simon Phillips is a technically great drummer but he bores me. No offense.

  • cut page some slack 1983 was when he started playing again after bonzos death. he hadent picked the guitar for months

  • lesxpaul. I agree. Page looks like he's having fun. Quite different than the Zep days. He looks much more loose. Not to say that during Zep they weren't having fun, but here he is very entertaining. I like it.

  • ya me 2

  • Yeah ... and 1983 is the time for his bad years ... he taked a lot of Heroin in that time

  • Great rocker of a song. Page having fun. Paul's singing is great as usual. Excellent clip.

  • hahaha pagey 0:30

  • @mistad00m LOL xD He's saying "wait!! I'm rocking, but at this moment I can't move!!"

  • is that fucking JIMMY FUCKING PAGE ?!!!

  • This was a great show! I caught the show in Dallas. My first time to see page, clapton, and beck. I'm gld they changed the line up from the first show in Europe. The addition of Paul Rogers and Joe Cocker were an added bonus.

  • Now Paul sing with Queen. That guy really has legendary friends.

  • LUUUVVVVV Paul Rodgers !!!!!

  • page played brilliant here! I think he was really enjoying himself for first time since led zep stopped! great playing and even his dancing was gerat. Well done page!

  • Don't knock Page!! He was in a bad way at the time with his heroin addiction.. He'd lost his band which was his life..I know he wasn't playing great on these show but you have to admire him for going out there dispite his condition and enjoying it!

  • @LIGHTMAN004 Page was doing 'H' during Zeppelin.. and it seemed not to show him down.. as was Bonzo........ but, pit-falls in life will do a number on an individual no matter what they're taking or not taking. Sometimes you gottat do what you gotta do. "You can't always get what you want (you get what you need)".........

  • @LIGHTMAN004 I agree with you. It seemed that the death of Bonham and Zeppelin took a huge toll on him. He plays wildly and frenetically, but without the clarity he had. I feel real bad for him seeing him perform like this

  • page has a talent for dancing aswell! great playing from paul and Jimmy!

  • Page sounds like an extremely poor Paul Kossoff imitator. Rodgers is much better! In fine voice, too.

  • This is a take on Baby lets play house from elvis...the song that made jimmy take up guitar.

  • Not knockin Jimmy, I'm a lifelong fan, but he ain't up to scratch is he? That guitar solo was crap, his dancing was ridiculous and his outfit just about topped it off. What a mess he was at that time. I really feel sorry for him watching that.

Mr Rodgers on the other hand, is on top form! Great voice as usual, surprisingly good guitar solo...and better than Page's dare I say.

  • look at jimmy dance with his guitar, id scre up if i tried that

  • Can anybody tell me where i can find the lyrics for "Boogie Mama" please? I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find them :(

    thanx (Y)

  • it is funny when regular people comment on rock and roll gods.

  • jimmy page looks kinda geeky there.

  • since when does geeky involve long hair a guitar, and an apetite for blues?

  • Is this from the MSG show??

  • yes.

  • The best part is that Paul's guitar solo blew Page's away!

  • That's not saying much seeing as how bad Jimmy's condition seems.. and god damn his legs look skinny D:

  • well im sure if page and roger played again, we would know who would win XD

    but i love em both

  • i think Page is awesome in this vid, he's used to those types of antics form beign with Zeppelina nd it worked. Yeah maybe it's a lil overdone, but it adds energyt o the stage and if nothign else makes it fun to watch:-)

  • that's a fact, my friend. just witness paul and band for free in mt. clemens, mi on the river then had a meet and greet at midnight full moon, he sang a song with the drummer of bob seger's band 1973, he's in a wheelchair now but paul made his day it rocked.

  • Greatest R&R singer PERIOD!!

  • bede

  • It is awesome despite Jimmy's antics...funny how he keeps trying to get Paul to look at him while acting like a drunken school kid but Paul maintains his sense of decorum. Nevertheless, I still love Page as well and the whole musicianship on stage is great!

  • Awesome. Paulie looks and sounds great...can't say the same for Jimmy :(
