Can anyone upload the part of the film where Gene is with a whole bunch of kids and teaches them some American/English words? And he does a whole bunch of impersonations, such as a train, airplane, etc. I haven't seen the movie in 6 years, but that's what I remember of the scene. Thanks!
I love this song. I love Gene Kelly. But i also thing the Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire version in FUNNY FACE is amazing as well. I was actually quite suprised to see the song in two seperate movies.
@cupcake101 I believe your talking about the part where they are by the river and she runs off after he tells her his feelings? I can upload it just for you but just confirm what I said so I dont upload the wrong part.
He makes it look so effortless, so relaxed but still full of energy. These really are the best films, not the trash coming out these days. Born in the wrong era.... and this is coming from a youngster!
Magnifique chanson de Gershwin écrite pour le film "An American in Paris"! This song and the choregraphy are full of energy (excuse my english! I' m French). Thanks for this add on Youtube!
That smie? Priceless. And Georges Guetary's voice is beautiful. I could watch this scene and the ballet all day. George Gershwin's symphony is so beautiful and Gene and Leslie's dancing just tops it off beautifully. Beautiful, beautiful musical.

Wish the audio was a whole lot better. This is one of the premier scenes in a great motion picture.

Does anyone have the scene where Gene's character tells his girl crush he loves her but she doesn't say it back?

@RedsFanatic01 Yes, that's the part I mean. Wouldn't it be sweet to hear Gene say those three words in your ears?

The only complaint I have about this song/video is that it's far too short. lol Thank you for posting it! Great stuff!

@choirchick22 Indeed they are, especially ones with Gene Kelly in them :P. Sorry about the random noises going on in the background.
