Had I died on a plane, on my way home, or had they succeeded in their plan! I would shake my head in "tears"at what others are saying to each other on this forum! Its totally unnecessary whether those guilty of a crime are Muslim or non Muslim! It comes down to this. 2 wrongs don't make it right!

Besides Simiz9, how could anyone want to assimilate into hatred of anyone who is non white? It makes me ashamed to be white when I hear others blaming everything of immigrants. Yet Canada is a country that is based on many who came to her from every continent. Maybe if you took the time to know each others hearts then you'd see that really the only difference is how we dress, not our religious differences! We all want respect in the end of the day! u ask a muslim this question. u r a canadian or a muslim first. these muslims migrate to the west asking for asylum because they calim they are being persecuted by their mother country. then they will live in the west, take advantage of their social system for which is supported by my taxes and they will have no loyalty for their adopted country. u live in lala land. read a newspaper go talk to these immigrants. they hate the way we live. they hate our openess.

Simiz9. I am Christian. I have Muslim friends who are moderates. They are not extremists. Just like any religion whether Christian, Muslim, Jew or non religious U will always have those who are more extreme, & others who are tolerant. My Muslim friends would marry a Christian without expecting total conversion! Other Muslims would disagree with them, as would some Christians but they are open to ideas more then you imagine! I am not living in La La Land. Take care!

how many churches or synagogues or temples have been built in an arab land in the last five years or 10 years. compare that to the west allowing them to congregate and hate the very county they livein. again ask ur muslim friends what comes first canada or islam. and also ask them the reason. and ur muslim friend marrying a christian and not asking for "total conversion" well u said it not me.

I agree with you... there will ALWAYS be extremists, but being a Christian or a Muslim extremist leads to violence. If you're in the Jain religion and you're an extremist you'll end up trying to protect every living thing (Jainism is a religion of non-violence towards every living thing)... the Jain extremists will avoid harming a fly, let alone a human being!
We see the true essence of a religion by its extremists... non-violent religions just don't have violent extremists!

No matter how open we are in our society we will always have others who are shocked at such openness. However, there are just as many religious Christians, Jews who disagree with many things we now allow within our societies. Not just Muslims! There are non religious who don't like the status quo. I tend to believe in live and let live! Many of my Muslim friends do too, and would never force their children to do as they would want. Some of their daughters go without hiijabs . What do U know?

I was traveling when this occurred & had to endure hours of search, throwing out of items I was bringing back to Canada from London. I would have been flying to Toronto from there ! To say the least I am glad they did not succeed & a big congrats to the British agency who prevented this!
As annoying as that was, I am even more appalled at how ignorant people are being. Two hates don't create a right! For every Muslim who is here in our countries with honorable intent, the few ruin it for them.
