Even though I knew what was going to happen, this part in the movie had me at the edge of my seat. This piece of art just topped my excitement. Violins always get me pumped for some reason.
@musicandcupcakes28 i remember david yates saying they took it out because if voldemort was able to get that close to harry he'd just kill him instead of grabbing him and asking him more questions. they didn't want the scene to be unrealistic. though i kind of agree, i loved that part of the trailer!
@rainyrose23 although it was a great and badass part and i would very much enjoy seeing in the deleted scenes of the dvd, being an artist (specifically a writer) i agree with yates in cutting it out. if you have any pieceof art AT ALL the best thing you can do to it is cut out ANTHING that you dont fell belongs there. if yates felt like that would be too unrealistic than thats what makes him a great director. and thats what make writers (especially rowling) great and not just pretty good.
@musicandcupcakes28 Its a great scene! yes but i think that they cut it because it wouldnt of transitioned good with the final battle itself. maybe or maybe not..who knows
@stbeecher Harry needs some sleeeeep, and he needs a nose . And he needs some sleep.... and some new glasses.... and he needs a manicure.. Don't sleep yet Harry he's gonna kill you look out!! SPELL, DODGE, to many pass.....
@mkc92ingc Yeah, he uses some of his other tracks and sort of transforms them into other songs. Such as in Dragon Flight when he used Lily's Theme around 00:51.
The Forest again was beautifully acted. Harry walking slowly to his own demise: very neutral expression: no fear, no defiance, just acceptance. Steady walk too, wand in hand but he makes no move to lift it. Hes not afraid, he has no extra ace up his sleeve, hes just walking. To death. Because he knows he has to. Because hes Harry Potter.
I love Harry Potter !! :'))

Funny...Hagrid took Harry as a baby. Now Hagrid has to carry his dead (not really) body.

I never knew that part of casting the killing curse involves throwing up!
Voldemort says "Avada Kedavra" as if he has stomach problems.

im sad
they cut out the best scene from the previews! its when Voldemort is w/ harry:
Voldemort: Why do you live?
Harry: Because i have something worth living for!
I mean really! it shows that he is a truly selfless person
