  • yep! very well done. Much, much better.

  • does anyone know if there's a clip on youtube where all the docs sit at dinner, and Elliot leaks to everyone that Melfi is treating Tony? That's S6 P2

  • faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake!

  • @grapix

Shoulda been real, friend, shoulda been real.

  • The best way to deal with the original scene is simply not to imply anything, the director clearly made it ambiguous and hinting towards his demise, but he didn't define it, so for me, sopranos ended with him having a family meal with all his subpoena problems at the forefront of his mind! I hate cowardly endings that leave it open to interpretation, its like getting a wank off a girl and her stopping half way through to finish yourself off.

  • It works, oh God how it works.

  • really just two shots???

  • @fuzzylogic218 1 shot in the head = dead man, 2 shot in the head = overkill, at point blank as well! you've been watching too many movies!

  • @Sudstah I dont understand why someone had to make this fake video. I was criticizing how many muzzle flashes the creator of this made. It actually ruins the ending more cause now it has the viewer thinking maybe the gunman shot Tony twice and left Carm and Anthony to live OR He shot only Tony and Carm OR Tony and Anthony Jr. so that the Soprano bloodline would end. You see yes I do watch a lot of movies and the series ended the way it did for a reason. Not for someone to change it on them.

  • @fuzzylogic218

Still, the "fake" does leave the actual question of just who DID get shot unseen. Works for me.

  • If this isn't the true ending, then it should be.

A few brief seconds. nothing shown, but the difference it makes....

  • I mean no disrespect to the best fuckin' series of all time. but this ending was more "appropriate" to the sopranos. everytime i watch the sopranos i feel like a nostalgia.

  • where did you get the ambient city sounds for this? They're awesome

  • Hey man great video! i subbed! :) i made my own version, i hope you don't mind, il be glad if you would check it out! :)

  • Im not gonna lie, this ending would be a whole lot better than the blackout.

  • Very well done. The only one I would say is better is the one where the Earth explodes and you can still hear Journey in space, LoL.

  • i love the show and i hate the ending

  • @tgms177 If you hate the ending, you are like AJ trying to understand a poem.

It has clues about its symbolism throughout the seasons.

  • well i don't know if this is fake or it's real but i like it i think tony die if it's a fake great job (Y)

  • That's fucking FAKE!!!!

  • yeah its sounds like gun shot but it's look's like a shiny disco ball....is it murder or a party starting??!!! :))

  • i was revisiting this whole bullmess and i would like to say nice job its a very simple and clean spoof

  • It's not real but I like it.

  • Tony Soprano for President!

  • No the real ending is, that Phil Leotardo and christopher return as undead, having a CLEAVER instead of a hand and cut the entire Soprano into little pieces

  • @captain2ahab WHAT?!?!.....but i thought they got assraped aswell

  • In the first episode of season 6, members only, you see at one point tony at Satriales with his crew, BUT all those guys die in the next episode, Bobby, Chrissy, Eugene, Vito & than comes Phil (he dies too) so maybe Tony does too?? I don't know.. the second thing that can happen is that the Feds storm in cause Carlo Gervasi was talking to the feds and he gave some critical information...

  • @PI214...Going back to the series...isn't it ironic that Silvio got hit while he was supposed to be protected by Patsie, and isn;t it ironic that Patsie's son Patrick wa sthe one whi eventually get's engaged to Meadow...all the while Patsie has been working for Tony knowing that Tony ordered the hit on his brother Phillip Paritsi (I think I spelled that right)...could it be that Patsie was involved in the hit git of Tony as well as Bobby and Silvio just to take the Big Chair???

  • @GetBlowedTv Good point but Paritsi got over it, he had enough chances to take out Tony S. but he didn't, now that you mentioned it, think about this, Eugene gets an order to take out Teddy Spirakios en he wears a Members only jacket, the guy does too in the restaurant where Tony Soprano is with his family, Teddy Spirakios the first 2 letters from his name T S just like Tony Soprano, T S, maybe there's a connection...

  • Only 2 shots? No screaming?

    meh

  • fake!!!

  • Crap...I'm watching The Sopranos right now, can anyone tell me how did it end...If Tony dies I'm not watching anymore...

  • @arfacrew

    that makes no sense

  • Comment removed

  • oooops wrong answer...why do you think that? Tony is my fav in this show without him it wouldn't be fun as it is now...

  • @arfacrew watch the whole fucking show ! it is brilliant until the very last second

  • efixmaster you are fuckin idiot

  • @TrevorJared. Lol

  • FUCK THIS STUPID ENDING. AN INSULT TO THE SERIE'S SMARTNESS. ALL THOSE WHO DIDN'T UNDERSTAND AND/OR DIDN'T LIKE THE SOPRANO'S ENDING ARE MORONS

  • @Mittelmensch feel free to explain it to me please... just watched it and i'm clueless

  • wtf??

  • terrible edit

  • ORLY?

  • First of all, great video work. Second, the guy at the counter is TONY'S FATHER, not a hit man. I think the ending was effin' brilliant. Know why? We're still talking about it!! I watched it over and over and over. Looking for clues galore. In fact, I watch the reruns on Sunday mornings on A&E and just today Tony's father was in it. The guy at the counter was his father, the moral? He can never run away from the life he's chosen GOD I MISS THIS SHOW! So wish they'd make a movie!

  • @HeartInThe60s

its a guy who looks a lot like his father, but its not him. (but im going to re-check this tonight),. your right about the rest, except a movie wont work, cause who should be in it? :D

  • good job

  • first, this is faked, it is obvious (flashing...).

second: TONY WAS SHOT. Why I think that?

    Read that: masterofsopranos.wordpress.co m/the-sopranos-definitive-explanation-of-the-end/

After reading this, everything seems so clear ;o)

Actually, the black screen was the best possability david chase had. Do you really whant to see how tony gets whacked after 8 years? No way... this way it has a waaaayyy better "effect".

Cheers to sopranos, one of the best series ever made! I miss it...

  • @CombatMedicTM

Ah, but even here we do not see anything, just hear those two ominous shots...

It''s what you don't see that lingers...

  • @CombatMedicTM True.. but it's not true its ONE of the best series. It IS! the best EVER! So Addicting.

  • @CombatMedicTM

Good point, but notice how you don't actually see who gets shot here...

  • fake

  • I bet he choked on the onion rings that is the real ending

  • i dnt get it

    wheres the screeamin croud?

maybe tony could be hurted or

    some shit like that...

    they`re lot of speculations...

  • LOL

Tony pulled out a gun and killed everyone!!!

  • Who shooted? .-. i dont understand

  • Wow. This had me going for a minute. I thought it was real. So I watched it 3 to four times and realized this was great video editing work. And the description makes it seem real. But if you look closely you could tell the flashes are fake. David Chase and crew are alot more creative than using some generic flashes to simulate gun shots.

Props to the guy who made this.. You had a lot of poeple fooled!!!!!!!!!

  • never seen a whole episode of it in my life and i still think this is a better ending

  • this looks shopped. I can tell from the pixels and seeing quite a few shops in my time

  • This is actually very well done. With all the silly, stupid types of these videos on youtube, this one is an HONEST, REALISTIC looking ending. Hats off to you sir!!

  • Wow everybody speculated that Tony was killed this may prove it

  • so tony get shot in the end but they dont show it, weird ?

I never saw the ending but i thought he went to prison at the end

  • it's obvious in either ending that someone dies...wouldn't make any sense for someone NOT to die, lets be serious? Just a question of who, which is most likely Tony and who killed him? I'm pretty sure just like with any other big show that has a cult following (i.e., Sex and The City, X-Files) there is going to be a movie that explains a lot that has to do with the ending in another few years...be patient!

  • Too bad this wasn't an actual deleted scene :(

  • Its Furio's brother ;-)

  • @yasbeuck no its not

  • this is fake...but better than the original ending

  • Well, as many of you probably already know, 24 ends on May 24th. PLEASE tell me that David Chase did NOT write the series finale of 24!!! Jack Bauer is way too damn cool to go out like Tony!

  • Whta they are doing? taking a photo with Flash? FAKE

  • I find it funny people defending the position that Tony is not dead. Shows how strong the character is that people still cling to him.

  • Now, see, why couldn't that have been the real ending?

  • @jmoon219

I second that. It makes a point, but is still ambiguous enough... just who really did get shot?

  • @jmoon219

Yeah, why not? It's still ambiguous, even with the gunshots?

  • How does anyone know if the guy in the members only jacket is Nicky Leotardo?

Was he in a previous episode?

    Did Phil mention Nicky before?

  • i dont know if anybody noticed but in this "ending" the pitch of the music is higher than the original

  • also this fake ending would be more believable if the gunshots were followed up by screams

  • @00tyler

It depends who is it that was shot. A delayed reaction from shock is believable, esp if this is the death of one family member at the hands of another.

  • wewantbuzy360 is right. Every time Tony looks up to see who's entering the restaurant we see his POV (point of view) and at the end when he looks up and it cuts to black, we're still seeing what he sees....nothing, because he's dead

  • tony did die. Not like this clip. But on the original its all POV shots. (point of view) and we see tonys the whole time. Then it turns black. There are a couple other references to this. One is the convo with bobby on the boat in season 6 part 1. So yeah hes dead, chase said if the movie comes out, its gotta be about tonys youth, father and uncle. cuz everybodys either dead or grown.

  • chase never said that, he said he would bring back as a movie if everyone was on board and the script was right. no one is out to kill tony, he is about to be arrested and sent to trial.

  • Exfuckingactly.

David Chase also mentioned that its obvious on what happened in an interview.

  • this is bullshit.

it doesnt take much browsing to find that David Chase revealed that Tony wasnt killed.

and there is a reason for that.

  • fake...nice try though.

  • where'd you get this from?

  • but wat happend to meadow

  • God there's only ONE character I cannot see :P and that is A.J I hate him so much

  • hahah funny, check out some of our comedy as well, type Northside Comedy

  • I think if they would have wacked Tony. iIt woul be good to see his family reacting to it in fornt of them. Like the screaming and blood on there clothes and just all out messy with Tony laying ont he counter with blood every where. It would have been more real. Like Phils killing. The original ending was a cowrd ending

  • @scottyray12probably they would have killed the whole family

  • Fake but at least it makes more sense than the orginal.

  • ok this is totally fa-

  • lol @ the fake gunshotfire

  • EVERYBODY : This is not the real ending !!!!!

There´s actually only one REAL ending, where David hase let it to the open, if T gets whacked or not ! That´s the beauty of it i think !

    Tony Soprano forever !

  • Woul'dve made more se-

  • And to add to my last comment... All of you folks who say the ending was great... You're not fooling anybody. We know you didn't like it either. You're just saying that you liked it to look smart or something. Here in a couple years when David Chase is starving and homeless, he'll make a movie or another season and say, "Ta-da!" like he intended it to be that way all along... dickless weasel. Anybody wanna buy my DVDs?

  • @thecrapsilo that might be the dumbest sopranos-ending analysis i've ever heard. You should just watch nickelodion. I didn't like it at first cuz i didnt know wtf just happened. Then I watched ten more times and it made sense. Then I looked online and tons of people agreed with me that Tony dies. And chase ain't going broke. If he wants to ever make another tv show for any network they would kiss his ass and beg him to do it for any money

  • All you guys know what really happened right? In reality... David Chase is an ass. He wanted us to go out and spend millions of dollars on the DVDs and talk about and debate about the show for the next 20 years... and we all happily played right into his hands. He ensured his legacy by screwing us out of a decent ending. To David Chase... You didn't do anything new with the ending. Can you say, "Who shot JR?"

  • What season is it ?

  • fake

  • Wow

  • lol naysways i think they should make a new season serioussly the real ending was left right open

  • THIS IS FAKE.

    The Meadow scene is cut.

The long shot of the diner is a freeze frame.

    The wind sound was added.

The gunshot light is exactly the same two times, was added and is poorly done.

The real ending leaves it open.

  • If you look carefully the people don't move in the diner...

  • It still works for me, esp the sounds.

  • No, there is no Meadow scene you are conditioned to think you saw meadow coming in. No such scene! Tony got hit, remeber "you never hear it coming". Killed on the orders of Butchie or Patsie....

  • THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS , Meadow walks in ass the guy that had walked in the bathroom is walking out about to shot Tony, MEADOW Shots that guy 2 times. She has it in her Blood she was all about her dad being a Mafia Boss, she was inspired witch led her to be the bad bit@% she was.

  • This is what happened, they just didn't show it, because then you wouldn't have to figure out the situation.

Meadow was parking her car, her dad (if not her entire family) got shot and she walks in a few moments later. It's possible. Make of it what you want though, that's the beauty of the "normal" ending.

  • I read something about this alternate extended ending scene, but I doubt a YouTube member would have it. It's well done anyhow.

  • @vatosharpei Who do you think You Tube members are valtosharpei?

  • @msmattian

    I don't know....your mother maybe?

  • ahhahahah, I prefer the normal ending. I don't want tony to die. I watched the Sopranos too much.

  • what te fuck? alright, if this is fake you are very good,

  • What the FUCK?!!!! Where the hell did this ending come from?!?!

  • It looks like a fan-made addition, but one that keeps in the spirit of the original. Just a few seconds more, but what a difference they make.

  • @PandaMishima yeah I dont think he died to be honest itjust wouldnt fit ohis character to go out like that so easy...he was always on guard and had fast reactions any other time his life was threatened,,the first guy would have caught his attention if he was anybody to fear..and the black guys were nobodies i dont think anyone would send gangstas to kill tony after what he did to the first 2 guys that tried..and he had no look in his eyes that said fear to me..it was a blank stare

  • This ending is not the official and I can se why. The other ending is flawless imo

  • okay, but it still doesn't say who got shot. It could have been AJ, Meadow, Tony or his wife. Or he he\\Tony could have seen him at the last second and turned around and shot him! This sce ne really doesn't do much. I betcha if a movie comes out Tony is is jail for, as I said He turned around and shot the other guy, for murder!

  • Did Tony in have a gun on him?

  • That does work, now that you mention it. On the other hand, if nothing else comes of it, it still works. Tony is in prison, or is dead, whatever works; his fate is suggested but not completely revealed. Maybe it's just as well.

  • WOW! I never knew this was the real ending!

  • If it's not, it should have been.

  • It's not. It's a fucking fake.

  • @maulcs

A fake that should have been real.

  • I agree with Ride1098

  • When tony looks up, we expect to see his point of view of meadow walking into the diner. instead it cuts to black and we see nothing. WHY? because if its through tony's eyes he wouldnt see anything because this is where he gets shot. Chase enforced this by putting in a few hints through the final season. when bobby says 'you never hear it coming' when he's talking to tony on a boat. and when silvio is dining with a man who gets hit. he later says 'i didnt even know it happened till it was over.

  • his ending is stupid. The cut to black one is better. People just don't get it. Chase made it because he didnt want his audiences to be 'spoon fed' the ending as this is typical in most gangster films/shows. He wanted to show it in an artistic way. If you notice, whenever the doorbell dings, tony looks up looking for one of his family members. The camera shot always has tonys point of view. as if we're seeing it through his eyes. so when meadows entrance makes the bell ding, tony looks up.

  • It does keep Tony's ultimate fate off-screen.

  • I wouldn't say his ending is stupid, I would say it's retarded.

  • even if it's fake I'll rather accept this ending then the fuckin blank screen

  • fake

  • The guy in the restaurant is NOT Nicky Leotardo, that is just an internet hoax.

  • The hoax is good enough for me.

  • photoshop

  • I think the ending is left up to the viewer's imagination

  • 2 shots for a table of 4. fake

  • familys are untounched......

  • he shot 1 guy 2ice

  • KILL EM ALL!

  • this is ending is shit!!

  • To be honest, I actually like this better! I think the straight cut ending was a little TOO abrupt, the ambient street sounds at the end really added to it as well. Well done!

  • I have to agree. What makes this work for me is the simplicity of it--cut to the outside, two shots ring out, fade to black.

Cliffhangers can be infuriating. People tend to assume Tony's going to die, the trick is making it subtle enough.

  • Exactly. Don't get me wrong, I like a good cliffhanger, but this one was a little too unresolved, in my humble opinion.

  • The beauty of this version was that it resolves things without being gorily explicit. Those two shots said enough.

For what it's worth, I take the side that Tony's family was spared. They will never speak of what happened; they know what is done.

  • although I don't believe this is the final, I mean, this is fake, is just that... waa

  • the end sucked, poor anthony :(

  • this actualy should have been the ending

  • aha now iunderstand u thanks ;)

  • oooooooooookaaaaaaaaayyy........

  • hey guys can any of u tell me does this scene means that tony dies or what

    please answer me

  • its a fake man, chill.

  • what do u mean it's a fake i cant understand u?

  • the last bit when you see the cafe and you hear shots, this person has edited it and put gunshot sounds and flashing lights in there, its a fake video of tony being killed.

  • the original was writing brilliance, u just had to follow the story the whole way and watch closley

  • I believe that the way they decided to make the ending for the sopranos' series was a good choice with th cut to black. because if you really watch the series there are clues to what is going on and what happened to tony. But i can see how some "non-followers" would have different interpretations.

  • i agree, the ending was amazing. just as it should be. and people who search for clues and want to know the "real" ending, arent true soprano fans and never really appreciated the show on a level that it desrved

  • the ending was perfect the way it was. those who don't agree didn't watch all 86 episodes.

  • i did and i still hated the ending. it wasn't even an ending. it was a damn cliff hanger.

  • Lol what a shitty edit.

  • i hate that ending

  • lol if you watch the original ending right before this one you can hear its a completely different part of the song when they're eating the onion rings. This dude fucked up the editing

  • Don't forget the eating of the onion rings like their Holy Communion. When you give communion before someones death it is called Viaticum or provisions for a journey. Hence the Journey song Don't Stop Believing. Seconds later the screen goes to black. Tony wouldn't have known the bullet hit him until he heard the sound. He was dead before he even realized it. One of the greatest shows ever made!

  • thats really good idea bout the onion rings and i totally agree with u that he was shot and kille instantly.

  • this shit looks so made up...

  • because it is

  • I remember watching this one episode where Tony was talking to Bobby on his boat, the "Stugotz".. They were talking about death. I believe it was Bobby who defined death as "everything fades to black." Perhaps once Meadow entered the diner the Russian looking hitman shot him in the head? This is my opinion and of course, is NOT fact.

  • they weren't on the stugotz - that is tony's yacht. they were on bobby's fishing boat. bobby didn't say "everything fades to black" he said something like "you probably don't even hear it when it happens"

  • just for shits and giggles, what if the 2 black guys who came in were there to rob the place and whip out with a gun and then when the guy in the bathroom comes with a gun to shoot tony but is derailed when the 2 blacks see the other guy with a gun and both shoot at each other......just a possible meaning of this ending to help keep Tony Soprano alive!!!!!! LOL

  • this wuz just a big middle finger to me

  • This video? Don't get upset by it - it's just a fanboy edit.

You surely can't mean the real ending, which was a stroke of genius.

  • this was clearly edited by some joe shmoe who wants to prove a point. David Chase never intended on giving a definite ending.

Also, i'm not sure how people are so sure of the identity of the guy in the members only jacket. He was cast specifically for this role and wasnt in any other episode.

  • i dont think his family would of died, i remember tony saying in one episode that families cant be touched

  • Families aren't touched. That's a general rule in the mafia. The family will be taken care of by whomever the next boss is.

  • None of this shit that I've seen so far, was actually produced by HBO. I can handle humorous edits, but this is fucked up.
