They used good paint - IF you taqpe the laptop good youll be fine. Just do the back and nothing around buttons etc. Taping it up is harder than taking it apart!

i have he same laptop and i want to paint it too but not like thiiis the reason i want to paint it is because the gray color get dirt with time 1 year and it have some black mark down on the keyboard for having the hands in there too much time and it dont go off with nothing so i want to paint iiiit somebody now if i can send my laptop to some company that pain it/

just paint it anyway you like, like for example everything black or white and then paint it with some varnish so that it gets glossy and easy to clean

nah but seriously just byu some plasic spraypaint and mask off everything you dont want painted then apply light short bursts of paint about 6 inches away from the surface, and allow 10-20 minutes between coats, you need about 6-8 coats of paint, and dont use it untill the paint has cured, which takes 24-48 hrs depending on paint, if you dont let it cure then you will mark the paint job

I use this paint called Design Master, usually found at Michael's. He was really pleased because I think it's exactly what he wanted! It hasn't chipped or anything, I think it's still going strong!
