I wish I could add that we are still together and happy, but I can't. The truth is, we ruined our friendship like she had been afraid of doing. We ended up not even being able to really consider each other friends and recently decided to officially go our separate ways in life. Even with how everything turned out, the relationship was amazing and one of a kind. The love was true, the pain irrelevant, and the journey was worth the outcome. Her saying yes remains the best moment of my life. :)

One day we were talking and the topic ended up being on our feelings for each other. Both of us made it obvious that there was something real there.
