That would be so cool to have here in Australia if the weather bureau did forecasting on CB Radio but sadly they dont

@rstewart0403 The Weather Service here doesn't broadcast on the CB channels, they have 7 frequencies in the 162MHz range that they broadcast on, far away from the 27MHz CB channels. Some US CBs have VHF receivers built in and tuned to the weather broadcast freqs.

thanx for the video, i got a Cobra 23 plus too, and a Uniden pc244 , don't you a have information about that Uniden model? i'd be great to see a tutorial video about that radio..

That PC244 is a great radio, during the last, great skipland cycle I could talk across country with it no problem, no amp just a nice inverted V wire antenna.
