i got rb1 and ghwt and i'd say get rb2 just cuz theres better songs. Ghwt has old songs from like 70s. good songs on ghwt : the kill, scream aim fire, shcism (spelled that wrong), crazy train, trapped under ice and thats all i can think of right now. (those songs are good on drums, idk bout guitar)

i bought this game for wii and i got a ps3 like 3-4 mothns ago and i want rockband 2 for ps3 now so wud the insturments work on ps3 cuz i just put my guitar on and put the usb plug in and it worked and i was scrolling around in the ps3 home menu so does anyone noe if it will work on ps3 and if i cud get the game on ps3 instead

i personally like rockband better than GHWT because of the gameplay simply but rockband 2 looks amazing! (with great songs like chop suey! and master exploder etc...) but im in australia and it might not be even coming out here and if it does it will take some time :(

Guitar needs 2 AA batteries, and drums need 3 of them. Microphone doesn't need batteries.

u dont have to worry about that. if you get the new ps3, the wireless receivers that come with rock band 2 have 2 usb plugs built-in, so there basically usb hubs.
