Did catch them at Norwich Waterfront in 2000 but the audience wasn't so up for it and the gig suffered as a result. Was great to find them in 2011 so energised in a more appropriate venue with a crowd who really appreciated what they were part of...
I first saw Misty In Roots when they were promoting their 'Wise And Foolish' LP at Ipswich Gaumont in 1981. The audience was pitifully small and the band called us down from the cheaper upstairs seats to join the modest throng in the stalls. John Peel was there and he complimented me on my Altered Images t-shirt! Thirty years on and Misty are still (in my opinion) Britain's finest roots reggae band and they now have the size of audience they deserve.

fantastic gig on promotion night for NCFC. Saw them @ uea norwich in '86 also. At this rate they should be back in norwich in 2036.
