  • You are wonderful Joe Cocker. It's been a long time. It's wonderful to hear you. I am a huge fan.

  • From Macedonia: Haw can one listen to this and stand still!! This is FIRE, man!

  • On the studio recording in 1968, Piano is played by Artie Butler - ref. Carol Kaye and Wikipedia.

  • Great song! great singer!

    No crap rap!

  • I'M FEELIN' ALRIGHT NOW!

  • 5 people do not like this? They must not be FEELI'N' ALRIGHT

  • Thanks Dave and the Traffic for this song many group play this i love all of them esp.Joe C traffice and grand funk never sope listen to it

  • From Macedonia: It has been exceptional, historical pleasure to see and listen Joe in Skopje this year!! One-time occasion...

  • "Serval" was created from this prototype ;-)

  • This was a genius combo of musicians and a fabulous sound!

  • Definitely a soul man. I can tell I'm black. Not that white people don't or whatever but yea... I'm not gonna even try to explain he just is.

  • @mike60014 Not so fast.....what makes you think being Black (darker skinned) is a prerequisite for Soul? And second, what does 'I can tell I'm black." really mean. It implies that Honkeys couldn't even discern Soul from NonSoul, whereas any old brother can. If so explain why the uncle tom president Mr. Obama has no Soul, imprisons Rastafarians and other brothers by the millions, steals from workers to fatten the rich, and has done absolutely nothing productive for poor and working Americans?

  • 0:45 ..WOLVERINE!!!!!!!!

  • Actually, that's Artie Butler on piano. He conceived the arrangements including that famous riff

  • This is my most favorite Joe Cocker...has a little bit of everything in it!!!

Never get tired of hearing this song!

  • Oque eu achei???caramba, tudo de bom!!!!

  • I went and checked my history.Dave Mason was in Traffic at the time, so I think they performed it first. He had another version, as well as the best version, by Joe Cocker.

  • @ronHpyrotech It WAS written by Dave Mason of Traffic when he was 19. Same lyrics...this is a cover by Joe Cocker and arguably a better version.

  • I think this was originally written by Traffic.

  • I just found out Carol Kaye plays bass on this.

  • 1 ain't feeling alright LOL

  • He is the best of the best!

    havebass.willtravel

  • @randmace Artie Butler on piano, not Leon.

  • @randmace

Leon did not play the paino on this track.

  • the undisputed truth do a good version

  • @TheIntruders Chris Stainton played the intro on this version

  • @randmace carol kaye lady carol way way ahead love her. james

  • Man, LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing voice!! Takes me back to being in the car with my Mom and her totally getting into it! What is not to love?

  • @TheGretel1963 Your right about his voice, my kids used to laugh and make fun of me when I would get in to the song and many others and they would always want to go to work with me as I was a pro touring rock musician for more than 35 years. My daughters are pro classical violinists now and jam with me when they come to visit, I play keyboards, drums, guitars and vocals, my sons play guitars and sing.

  • It's more of what he puts into his voice then his voice itself, if you know what I mean?

  • Very nice collection of photos to go with song. Good job

  • Love him. He's my favorite male singer. He can wail! SOULful! Appreciate his 'Mad Dogs' era the most. His voice has so many different levels of emotion it. Brings it all to the table.

  • @whootiful You are rigth
