  • From "A Shropshire Lad."

  • we need more of these, please!

  • GREAT

  • It's gorgeously done, nice going!

  • Excellent rendition,. ty.

  • Not that your smile is not beautiful at the end, but it ruins the beauty of the poem and your excellent presentation.

I dont think someone with the heart given away would smile like that.

  • @stevenikfar

hes got tears in his eyes . and it doesnt look like a happy smile .

  • @stevenikfar I think the smile is perfect, because it makes the poem ambigious...we don't give our hearts away unless we may get some sort of "happiness" from giving it away...just my 2 cents

  • You Tube continues to amaze me! I found this whilst looking for performances of Arthur BUTTERWORTH's works. A happy stroke of luck....

  • You a very rare breed iblamepoetry - tis true, tis true. :-)

  • We're singing this in Men's Choir, It's such a great song, And it sounds really great in our 4 part harmonies, with 92 of us in the class. Great job with the emotions and everything too, Very Inspiring.
