Those ball bearing units that rest on the pipe that allows the carver to mover from side to side. What are they called? (proper name). I a building a smaller unit for pistol grip reproduction, and I need the frame to glide from side to side without any glitches.
Unbelievable! I was telling family about how we made this years ago, and within a couple minutes of searching "copy carver" I found this video. That's the exact machine my friend and I made! How funny! I'm so glad you're getting use out of it! I just finished a guitar body that began its life on that machine!

Yea, this thing is sweet. to many CNC machines on here, keep it simple, without the computer.. Do you do the back side of necks with this machine? thanks
